Le légendaire penalty et but en infériorité numérique du capitaine des Flyers, Mike Richards, lors du cinquième match de la finale de la Conférence de l’Est contre les Canadiens de Montréal. Séries éliminatoires de la Coupe Stanley 2010.

Uhh this brings back painful memories. This was after Halak found his inner God-Goalie abilities and Montreal beat Pittsburgh then Washington!! No gas left for a physical Philly team 🙁
Loved Richards. Dude was probably ripped on zappers tho! So much energy. .
Okay…seen better but respect still
Mike Richards-The Line
Showing his dominance as alpha male! 2 Stanley cups Richards played the game! Both ends of the ice!
One word: Awesome!
So great…even the comentary..i love this sh**
One of my all time fav flyers mike you da man
8/12/20 – We meet again Montreal…
LETS GO FLYERS!!!
Mike Richards seemed like a sure bet to be the Flyers captain for at least a decade. He was born for it. Dammit.
The poise with which he settles the puck before tapping it in just perfectly completes how great this shift was.
this season / playoff run was magic… it's actually criminal they didn't win the cup that year.
It's a shame the edit comes in so late. Richards instinctively anticipates a LHD on the right side is going to have trouble with the wrap around and takes the risk which results in that glorious check that starts the whole sequence. Better edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPSyrkxF2lE
Friendly reminder that this shift was likely fueled by cocaine.
Worst music ever.
Sabres fan who doesn't like the flyers. Still the best shift of hockey I've ever seen played.
Richards was a true prototypical Flyer. Giroux, who is revered, for some strange reason, couldn’t do half the things to make the team better and couldn’t come close to Richards’ impact.
Toaster vid…
That it happened vs mont makes it soooooo much better…
The last time the Flyers had a real captain. Pronger too. Giroux failed as captain though.
Mike Richards was solid with the Flyers and the Kings
2nd best captain in flyers history
The only NHL game I’ve been to….not a bad one to see!
One of my favorite captains… he and Giroux both have a legendary shift. And the man, myth, legend, and Hall of Famer Bobby Clarke. There were other good captains, but these 3 are some of the greatest of all time. But Richards was everything a captain should be… talented, gritty, heart and soul kind of guy.
He would've been right there next to Crosby and Ovi had he not had that rough spot in his personal life. Truly a great player
That made my hair stand up. Damn, that was a fun run!
Wasn’t this 2008?
Sure wish I could actually see the video
Would like give y’all a fun fact about Mike Richards, the town he grew up in “Kenora Ontario” is also the town I’ve grown up in, three of his cousins work at the same high school which I attended and have had all three of them as teachers, some days you’d see Mike Richards walk into your class just to chat with his cousins which was a blessing to see, something I’ve witnessed that none of y’all would ever. Suck it
No such shift… Giroux was the shift vs Crosby
