Auston Matthews is a GOD
I feel sorry for William Nylander. Playing with a rapid declining John Tavares and often times hands of stone Bertuzzi after a historic start. Both those guys can’t do anything and John Tavares is concerning. The puck touches his stick and immediately turns it over. Bertuzzi will chase the puck down behind the net but can’t do anything with it. Nylander often caught like a deer in the headlights. Can’t do much with two of your line mates going head to head on who can be the worse player on any given night. It’s been hard to watch.
I’ve been really hard on Nylander, but you can’t blame that guy. He needs real players to play with. I loved JT but his done, he can barely skate. Bertuzzi? 3rd or 4th liner at best. Give Nylander Domi and Jarnkrok to play with. He deserves better than his current linemates.

The Unsung heroes of the Leafs are video coaches Jordan Bean and his side kick as they both called back a total of 13 goals so far. That is more goals than half the NHL players have for the season so far. Mathews Awesome 13 away from 50….yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. 4 points away from 600.
Leafs only win when they come from BEHIND. If the were leading 2-0 they would have lost.
