We need a shawn mcdermott type coach.
Herniated discs are no joke. Surgery usually makes them worse. And Eichel wants to replace a whole disc? He just doesnt understand his injury I've had a herniated disc in my back for years. Surgery will f you up
What does Jack want? Does Jack want to play hurt? Does he want surgery now? Or this conservative approach? Oh he wants some experimental surgery? Guess what, this organization will possibly never have a player of his skill level again. Do what the guy wants. If he wants a piece of YOUR neck, you give it to him. I know you guys are quick to be pessimistic and its understandable given the past decade. The tank, the rebuild, now potentially another rebuild. All the GMs, all the HCs, bad trades. Etc.
But I personally hope this guy is the Sabres GM for a long time. I think he came into a losing team, with a lot of talent and disfunction. And I think he had to wait to fire a HC that the owners chose. Finding a HC will be tough. Figuring out what to do with Eichel will be tougher. Reinhart, Risto, Ullmark – all tough. But he knows what he has in Cozens, Dahlin and Mitts. And I think he will figure out how to win with those youngins.
Kyle needs to be bought out lol, he’s 6 mill and a fourth liner at best.
I am ashamed of our Buffalo sports media, nothing but negativity and salivation over trades they want to force so they can speak their garbage $.02 and it's been for many many years not just at the end of a crappie season here
Sabres need tougher players psychically and mentally . Team was soft from top to bottom .
He keeps talking about the young guys.
You need to develop your young talent it is essential in the NHL.
I hope they get a seasoned NHL coach.
Jack over played his hand. Bad look from a captain. Make it work with either Reinhart or Eichel, hire Granato and get some toughness and some veteran leadership.

I wouldn't have a problem with the medical staff of the team, I would point out strength and conditioning coaches need to be evaluated, something to prevent injuries more please, ridiculous this year.
Weird how KA wasn’t communicating about Jack and his condition until Jack forced the Sabres’ hand by calling them out (such as the poor communication and him not having a say in his own recovery/surgery).
