#hockey #nhl #newyorkislanders #coloradoavalanche #patrickroy Patrick Roy revient officiellement dans la LNH en tant que nouvel entraîneur des Islanders de New York.
Isles fan here…..I HATED LAMBERT and I like this move. Isles have a lot of talent for being a boring ass team (Barzal, Horvatt, Dobson, Nelson, Sorokin, Pelech, Pulock, Holmstrom….and decent core players Clutterbuck, Lee, Palmieri, Pageau, Engvall)
They can and should use this spark to make the playoffs and get out of the 1st round
Umm yeah ok I know Roy was a legendary goalie, but pulling a goalie with 10 minutes left in a game just makes him look like a jerkoff. But hey, maybe this time the nhl will really see that he’s a great manager…it was really just his crappy players that sunk him the first time.🙄
Not sure about Roy as a mid-season replacement. Roy has always come off as a guy who wants things done his way, which is fine if the team had a bit of lead-in time like a regular preseason to get the system right. But, jumping in mid-season, if Roy changes too much around it may kill the team's chances if it takes them more than a few games to adapt to a new system. It'll be interesting, and I guess from where the Islanders currently sit it can't get a lot worse, so they may as well try something. But I think next season (if he sticks around) will probably be a better measuring stick. Will we see the Koho pads in practice?.
I’m an isles fan and lane needed to go. He just felt like a big nothing burger. He never felt like he was doing much to help them win and he couldn’t calm this team down when they go super cold. Not to mention all the stupid line mix ups he did last year including third period of game 6 against Carolina which was just an atrocious period.
This needed to happen. Just felt like Lane wasn’t really doing shit to help this team win. As for his replacement? Let’s see what happens.

Good video king
Wow
Una sinfonia di intelletto e umorismo; una fusione che risuona profondamente con l'essenza di ogni spettatore.💕
This is new.
no wua
It would be kinda wild if Roy suited back up just to spite another player
People sackin coaches left and right. Bruh, you cant win them all.
Found out the news at my workplace. My coworkers probably think I'm crazy now.
Most definitely he will be the coach that brings the house down and when he’ll face the Montreal Canadians watch out 😂😂😂
Lucky they don’t have Tavares
This is actually super exciting
As a islander fan I wanted this a month ago thank god
As a Wings and Islanders fan I feel conflicted.
thats our guy!
I am glad the leafs didn't get him. He would've toughened them up and made them winners. Which is my nightmare.

Roy unexpectedly walked away right before the season started leaving Sakic scrambling.
That's how you put asses in the seats! It's a definite shake up and if anything, will be entertaining. Roy and Torts..bring it.

It didn't "shake" the NHL.
Next time you see Patric Roy, ask him he took all the doors off in his house 😂😢

You should make a video about the habs losing 9-4
Empty net goals gonna be on the rise 🎉
Roy is a terrible coach
The boogy man is back

Horvat has had a lot of coaches in a short amount of time
When r the devils gonna fire lindy ruff
I'm surprised it took this long for somebody to hire a jack Adams winner. Shows you many things don't want to go to the playoffs.
Little lazy on the visuals here Eck. Good commentary though
Can’t wait for the coach fight against Torts when they play the Flyers.
