@Maple Leafs de Toronto

  1. It's simple really. Leafs play sixy minutes, they win, only play two of every three periods? You lose.

Playoffs, and many games like this, it takes that team twenty minutes to realize they are playing, by then, it's too late. Four goals and they still lose, had they been awake the first period, they've got that game.

  2. I was at the game and I agree with Craig 100%. Goaltending wasn't the best but the Leafs defensive game is just brutal. Zero structure at all. Waaaaay too soft on pucks, coverage, getting the puck out. On a positive note, I am really impressed with Benoit and McCabe. They hit everything that moves and Benoit was jumping up in the play. He's very underrated.

  3. I believe the leafs are a really good team and I believe their coach has no way to tap into the talent , he’s a back stabber , they want him gone

  4. Something has gotta give in Toronto because in this game, we saw some of the same issues again. Not playing a full sixty minutes. Terrible defensive breakdowns again and again. Toronto is really running the risk of failing out of the playoffs.

  5. nylander has great offensive skills but i do think he's a floater. 0:58
cant help but wonder if he will take his foot off the gas a bit because he got his big contract.. $$$

  6. I love this guy. His controlled rage and sarcasm is exactly the kind of outlet I need after getting my face melted off by another defensive dumpster fire.

  7. like are these idiots gonna make a huge deal out of every loss lol they don't say shit when they win but harp on the losses that's why i don't take these bozos serious too much critique not enough positivity and there are a lot of good things going on as well but you see how they choose to focus on the negative constantly fuck these people.

  8. The leafs outshot the canucks 48-to 20 like mention that you idiots. How about the fact their goalie stood on his head no mention at all of the leafs goals or good things all negative with these losers.

  9. Hope they booked Keefe another one-way ticket to Seattle like the other stops on this trip. No point in wasting the money on a return flight at this point.

  10. Craig Button is a CLOWN because if he was any good he would still be in the NHL instead of talking trash on TV.

  11. The Toronto Maple Leaf's are like Stan Mikita's Chicago Blackhawks, full of talent didn't play as a team and only won one Stanley cup. You build a team from the back end forward.

  12. Ahhhhhh, dahhh…
The Leafs were build as a one way team from the beginning…
Also just look in there roaster they have extremely soft players…

  13. He has alot of wins. The D and goaltending was not good tonight. The top guys have to play better in the D-Zone.

  14. The Islanders just fired head coach Lane Lambert and replaced him with the aggressive Patrick Roy! They will now likely make the playoffs.

The Leafs have sunk into fourth place with the Red Wings just one point behind.

Unless GM Brad “Stand Pat” Treliving does something drastic, they’re not going to make the playoffs.

    Time to finally trade local
boy Mitch Marner possibly to the Senators for defensemen Thomas Chabot and Jakob Chychrun and hope the returning goalie Joseph Woll will be better between the pipes.

  15. Not to mention their parade to the penalty box lately. I truly believe Dubas would’ve given Nylander the exact same contract if he was still here, which is a problem. The player wins EVERY single contract negotiation with the leafs management. It all starts at the top with Shanahan

  16. Keefe should get fired for doing the same thing over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and Treliving is letting it happen.

  17. Keefe should be fired for doing the same thing over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over. Since when did Pontus Holmberg become a first line player? He's a border line NHLer. Keefe should be fired.

  18. If Sheldon Keefe gets let go, Guy Boucher will be the one to become Maple Leafs Head Coach. That will also start the countdown to Keefe taking over as Head Coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins. The countdown to Lindy Ruff's firing in New Jersey is on as well with the Devils not looking their best as of late.

  19. please get horseface craig button off tv and put him in radio, he made a dumb comment about alain vigneauts stance on inclusivity …when everybody knows AV doesnt have a bad bone in his body.

  20. Sadly for the Leafs, firing the Coach is not the only thing that needs to happen.

This starts from the top, and the team is simply not built well. Something needs to give so that they can better round out the roster.

Upgrades on Defense and goaltending is essential for long-term stability. Firing Keefe might lead to some short lived success, but it ultimately doesn't fix all the problems.
