Dang did it ever get away from them. They were doing good at keeping things pretty even for the first half of the game.

The Bruins will quietly advance past the first round this year, while the Habs may do the same (but on the golf course with Patrick Roy).

    No, nothing is alright.

It’s funny I’m supposed to go watch them play against the Canucks in March, and I keep telling my dad (whom I’m going with) that we’re going to watch them lose, again. By how much? Hopefully not this badly..

Well, tank for draft picks is what I always say.

  4. PoignantPoint22

Holy fuck, I had to turn the game off after the 2nd and it was 5-4. Crazy how quickly things can get out of hand.

  5. AgainstTheGrain44

    Fuck em.

They can’t lose enough to make me happy.

  6. Palenehtar

I felt, I felt kinda dirty after this one…

This is what happens when you pull your goalie with 17 minutes left in the 2nd.

  8. Meats_Hurricane

It was actually a pretty exciting game until it wasn’t.

  9. Dingusclappin

We’ve been half rebuilding for 30 years and we still don’t have a team.

  10. Free_Speak

I think we’re aiming for the worst draft pick position without playoffs.

  11. iforgotguy

Looking back at it, I’m glad this game was blacked out for me

  12. Well… Today was a good day to go watch the PWHL in Verdun instead of whatever this was 😂

Montreal is not a serious franchise.

  14. ukrainianhab

Boston owns us lately. Honestly not too surprised.

  15. dr_van_nostren

I mean, it’s alright in that they suck and are kinda attempting to suck.

  16. JuanMichelBasquiat

6-2 last game and now 9-4. straight up not having a good time.

and when we win it’s either by one goal in regulation time, or by one goal in ot/so

  17. Fastsmitty47

It was a very close game until the third

  18. Kooky-Sample-3879

This is what happens when your team has garbage goalies lol

  19. Different_Potato_213

The score really doesn’t do the actual game justice. They played really well til midway of the 2nd. Some défense breakdowns, some saves montembeault didn’t make that he prob should have and that was it – hole got too big to climb out of. Have to also mention brutal road trip schedule. Not making excuses – all valid contributors. They lost but they didn’t play as badly as the score would indicate

The Habs are among the youngest teams in the league. They suck. They’ve had stellar goaltending all year or we’d have seen a few more of these.

Personally, I don’t care about the blowout all that much and I’m actually a bit excited they scored 4 against the Bruins haha

  21. Neteni_

I looked at my phone and it was 4-5 (i was like it’s winnable)then i played a valorant game and looked back and i wanna to kms

  22. gretzky9999

Even when you tank you can’t draft right.

  23. jabronimahoney

Am I the only Habs fan who wants them to lose every game? I mean ya, put up points, learn where to play defensively, but I want high draft pics. I thought this was a masterclass in hockey. Excite the fans, look like a team that can score and can be world-beaters, and then lose with no OT points. This team doesn’t even have a second line right now, why on earth would you want them to win and end up with a middling pick, like 14th for example, vs a top 5 pick again? I’m all for this year to finish at least bottom 3 in the east, and grab another stud.

  24. HockeyGoalieEh

Everybody is saying no or non, but I think they mean nein.

  25. TerrificThyme

Roy gets a new job today and Habs let nine in. Some sort of voodoo being applied.
