Leafs are too soft. They probably won't make the playoffs or at least be a first round exit. They should think about next season and retool the goalies, defense and bottom 6 offense.

The main problem with this team is the coach. Keefe has them playing high pressure hockey and they don't have the blueline or the goaltending to pull it off. Keefe seems to think they can score their way out of the all of their defensive issues, but when is the last team to win the Stanley Cup playing like that?
Marner and the rest of the core players have no movement clauses , dumbest move ever by a GM

I think they keepnthe core fore 2 more years.. and if they don't get past round 2 in that time, trade all 4 away+reily and rebuild with like a dozen first round picks

There not getting rid of marner but they do need changes for sure. If this team is ever gonna win.
Moving Marner is what needs to happen. 3rd and 4th lines win cups, they need to address the overall balance of the team

I'd love to see how trading marner fixes the abysmal goal tending situation. That's the reason why the leafs have lost out on at least 10-15 points this season
Keefe isn't perfect but what can he do if his goalies are Swiss cheese? There are bad goals every game that destroys any momentum
If the leafs get rid of marner and bring in several $3-6 million ineffective players like Bertuzzi, this will end up being a disaster.
Anaheim may call Toronto. What Anaheim lacks is scoring….. desperately. Not sure what the ask would be for Marner though
