If the refs choose to put their fingerprints all over a game, and it becomes a competition of whose PowerPlay is better…. We’re going to lose most of those games.
Worst effort I’ve seen from this team in a while. I’ll chalk it up to two games in 24 hours, but this was a big back to back with some big crowds in the first weekend without Eagles football and two winnable games. You have to at least take two points out of this.

You can’t fucking play 11/7 with Nick being one of those guys because he’s shit, and with Tippett out.
Today was probably the first truly poor game they’ve played in like a month (Penguins game too but honestly I think everyone’s head space was off lol) and it’s in their 5th game in roughly 7 1/2 days on the 2nd half of a back-to-back. Shitty game to watch but it happens

Some guys played really well, Farabee, Zemula, Ersson, but you need more out of the rest of the team. Yes missing Tippett hurts, but in a game like that you need the Coots line going, especially if you are running 2 shutdown/energy lines.
