But, Jerry Jones has to GIVE that power to his Head Coach Steve Young was talking about. Cowboys coaches have been looking over there should for 20+ years. Hard place for a coach to be. And, BTW– I am a Jerry Jones FAN! He has built an incredible team and organization. But, his omni-presence is a challenge for his coaches and some players….

It’s Jerry Jones’ ego. He didn’t let Jimmy Johnson be the front line commander by insisting on micromanaging the team. The saga between Jones and Johnson is the perfect example of in a clash of egos there are no winners. Yes Johnson had an ego too but his ego was focused on what he was good at and not trying to control everything.

Howie Long said it best. When he went to AT&T Stadium to conduct interviews, he described it as a Carnival or a Festival scene. When he went to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro to conduct interviews a couple of years ago, you could hear a pin drop in the hallways. It was all about Football and nothing else throughout Gillette Stadium. "That's the best way I can describe it about the Cowboys problem" said Howie.

Jerruh Jones has the team media and fans thinking they are perennial champions based off the success in the past. They don't think they have to win and they should just automatically be the champs. And no their coaches have no authority. But we all love watching them lose every year so it's all good lol
