I own the Stars Winter Classic jersey and couldn't make the game but this jersey is by far my favorite, in person, jersey. The logo in pictures doesn't do it justice. It's so much better in person.
Shame they didn't used the North Stars inspired D jersey plus the Reebok edge is more basketball since they share with the Mavericks
When they went from those bland and no-effort black jerseys w/ DALLAS to those gorgeous green sweaters w/ an inspired D-Star logo…that was one of the best reinventions of any major sports franchise I've seen. Still one of my favorites…ditch the ugly neons btw.
My youth hockey team was the Stars and we mirrored the Dallas jerseys. Loved the Turco era jerseys with the big star, HATED the 2010ish wordmark jerseys. Overall, pretty solid jersey history going back to the North Stars.

It was my first favorite team when i was a kid! Mike Modano my all time favorite player! The first jersey my mom give me was the #1 on your list. Now i bought the white one (#2 on the list) with Modano on it! Its honestly one or the best looking jersey ever made!!

Interesting fact about Dallas's original jerseys pointed out by the Hockey Guy, in the first season in 93 the Dallas wordmark doesn't appear. They would make the change in their second season. Also there's a Mandela effect with the white star jersey where some would misremember to be worn in the 98-99 season when it was actually first appeared the following season.

I actually like the rr.1 it’s clean af and I’m a sucker for white jerseys. Neon and white stars jersey he put 2nd are my favs. And honorable mention to the winter classic cuz it’s one of the best when it comes to winter classics right behind Detroit’s 2014 one that would have been a sick looking match up
When you do Minnesota, there is a difference between the 03-07 red alternate jersey, and the 07-17 red home jersey. They are not the same.

unironically, the mooterus is an amazing jersey, that whole set with the star jerseys and mooterus as the 3rd was easily the best in stars history
Great video! The jerseys that say “Dallas” across the front are my least favorite of all time. They look like basketball jerseys.
Agree that the star jerseys are the best and need to come back. Does it bother anyone that the star in the logo doesn’t perfectly align with the star outline of the jersey? I’d like to see those aligned properly and maybe change the color of the “stars” in the logo to match the color of the names/number on the back. Or at least see what it would look like
Also, can’t believe their current get up has been around so long, I still think they’re nice but like you said it’s probably time to freshen it up
It angers me that a lot of these old jerseys are being released and being butchered by Mitchell & Ness….i cant stand Mitchell & Ness because of those atrocious abominations of jerseys they release for the NHL

For the first reverse retro imagine that it was black on top green on the bottom with the outline of the star being white and silver. The logo would be silver just like the second reverse retro.
It's funny when you said the dark jerseys were away uniforms. Same here I still feel that the white jersey is the home one
