I’d give my left nut to know what happened in Chicago. It was serious enough for his contract to be terminated but not serious enough to be banned from playing in the NHL. Doubt we’ll ever know the full story.

How have you not covered that the Oilers just beat the Canadian franchise record for most consecutive wins? I mean this is cool news for the Oilers but hardly the most important thing going on for this team. Or their record in the last 24 games since the coaching change?
We actually do know why Corey Perry was suspended. I don't think anyone should sign him, especially the oilers if they want to win a cup.

Corey Perry gets too much shit, some of it for good reason, some not so much. He's still got gas in the tank, and he still has that playoff presence. Let him cook, he's the type of catalyst that could keep the Oilers on pace, and if they make the playoffs, could be the piece that makes them that much harder to play against. He came in on a one year contract for my Dallas Stars, and aside from the Winter Classic blunder, did his damn job. I'm glad he still wants to play and is getting a chance.

Not sure what he had done during his time in Chicago. I hope it was not overlly stupid but glad to see him ending his career on a more positive note (hopefully). I would have been happy if he ad signed in Montreal.
