I feel alot of people forget most depth guys from first few years like Kulda,Festerling,Flood,Wright,Tangradi,even later Morrow,Tlusty,Postma,Melchiori.
Back then we had shaky goaltending Pavelec had issues playing last season with moose,both masons,montoya.
Sometimes i wish like Meech,Keane,Roy True North would get guys from prairies or alumni into programs/jobs. True North has other foundations not just hockey in community.Chevy,Bowness,Heisinger ect wont be around forever
Even getting guys like Tootoo,Asham,Toews,Hextall,Evason,Helm guys from area or ex players permanent fixtures in province.
From regular jobs like meech to player development/scouts/moose positions.
-Mark Stuart is Assistant in Edmonton
-Pardy is GM of Newfoundland Growler
-Wellwood Assistant Marlies prior was Head coach OHL team.
-Steen is GM of team Sweden was assistant coach U20s and has job with Blues Consultant.
-Zajac is coaching AAA New Jersey
-Mcyntire and Flaherty are goalie coaches Jets/Moose.
Real Jets fans rememeber the days of Pavelec and Hutchinson as our goaltending duo 😢
I had a Wellwood a few houses down from my childhood home Kyle was only the second Wellwood I knew
Hutch was backup to Hellebuyck. It wasn’t that long ago. He was a great guy as well. He recently was called up by the Wings for a game so he’s still adding to his stats.
I recall Peluso and Hutch. Hutch was recently waived by the Red Wings.
You got me at Halischuk and Harrison, but I remember all the others. I actually own a Wellwood jersey. Lol
