Was that not a trip on Nelson?
Growing pains game. Lot of issues already being improved upon, lots to still fix.
Also, keep in mind these are the champs.
Lost to better goaltending
Frustrating game. Best that most of the team has looked offensively in a while. Neutral zone and breakouts still need a lot of work.
Rome wasn’t built in a day boys. Roy will cut the shit turnovers out of their game in time. Varly comeback game plus Roy in Montreal Thursday. Powerplay needs some work. We are still playing better hockey than we have in a while. Let’s fucking go Islanders. I’ll see you with lobsters in 2 days.
We needs wins, bad. But I’ll take that game. Looked like they had their shit together and that’s most important. Loving Patty
Honestly, not disappointed. Vegas is a tough team, I liked what I saw tonight, but there definitely is a lot of room for improvement.
Start Varly against Habs. Keep this level of play up and things will look up. Ran into two of the best teams in the west.
If Sorokin didn’t play 94 games in a row before this, the Isles *probably* would’ve won. I won’t be too pissed at this loss
Roy or no Roy playoffs are fading away with all these other teams around us. Sorokin and Pelech not being as good basically sunk this team.
well that’s extremely disappointing.
We lost because of the goaltending duel today. Good effort, and hopefully Ilya can finally get some rest.
Oof poor Borat 😩
It’s small potato’s but in that last segment with the goalie pulled they didn’t let Vegas get an open net goal which I’m 900% sure would have happened under lane
Nothing to be ashamed of in that game. Sorokin will probably want at least one of those goals back but the man is exhausted.
Unfortunately we need points and there’s none awarded for being the better team.
Of course « Rome wasn’t built in a day » but we do not have the luxury of time. I like what Roy’s doing though and he has a very tall task
Please send mayfield to Cancun
Blind passes and stupid penalties…mayfield and martin being the most undisciplined of the bunch. We still look much improved and i am sure Roy will clean it up.
Strong outing for most of the team. Particularly the third and fourth line. Barzal needs to fix his turnover tendency or be demoted to a lesser role. Mayfield needs to be out of the lineup. Sorokin needed Varly back yesterday. If we play like that we’ll get the W in MTL easily!
Sorokin just a tad off. Still bailed us out a few times. Couple sloppy turnovers but I think we were a better team most of this game. Hopefully Roy can clean it up some more and get us some much needed W’s
If the boys keep playing like that every night they’re gonna go far. The gaps, the puck battles, the commitment to play as a team… Sometimes you lose a game like that even though you played well. The effort level will prevail in the long run. On to Montreal.
Should of at least got the point
need to give sorokin like 5 days off with Varly back
Really good effort tonight and it’s exciting to already see positive shifts in play. Turnovers are still problematic and I was really disappointed in how sloppy Barzy looked at times. He showed effort but was responsible for quite a few turnovers and it’s annoying how much he turns down a good shooting opportunity for himself for the sake of a risky pass. He can shoot the puck well; if they give you ice, take it! Hopefully Roy can guide him to find the right balance in his game. If he can be more reliable, our top line and top PP will be much more threatening.
