I don't say this lightly, but PLD seems to be suffering from little heart syndrome. He's clearly struggling, but he can't carry the puck, he can't play defense, he passes the puck blinding to no one way too much. He rarely hits or uses his size effectively and doesn't seem to have any hustle in his game. For God's sake man, at least get nasty and show you care.

That’s positive thinking and boy do I hope you are right……BUT… I think PLD is a bust. He just doesn’t have the drive to win, or at least consistently. He just doesn’t appear to be a competitor !

The team is handcuffed by the moves Blake made feel obligated to play PLD to get him going but traded great players for him
Disappointed is TM not playing PLD at least as the 2C. TM making PLD pay his union dues before he plays him in the top 6? PLD needs a skilled Winger or two on the second line. Pair PLD and Fialla the rest of the year. TM is too much of a position and system guy. Focus on relationship or chemistry between players/pairs and let them play the best way they can play. Moore and Danault has good relational or chemistry between them. I'm not surprised the Kings have scoring issues when the coach cannot get the best out of PLD.
At this point as a GM, I'm just wheeling and dealing. Aside from Kopi, Drew, and Kemp, everything must go. Fiala goes bye, Byfield goes bye, Kaliyev, Liz, Roy, Clarke, PLD (if anyone will take that contract which i doubt) etc…all gonna go bye bye. I want to see a brand new team with guys who compete and are hard to play against. Enough with this pond hockey bs. The Kings need to get back to the meat and potatoes that won them 2 Cups. This is not your daddy's Kings with Quick, Richards, Big Willie, Mr. Game 7, Scuds, and the like. I went to the game last night and I thought I was goodluck but I guess not. Trust me it’s worse in person! They couldn’t even enter the zone correctly at all and whenever I saw them go up the ice they made the worst passes and the worst entries I’ve ever seen! I mean how it is possible to never fix how you enter the god damn zone correctly.
Eddie, how do we (you?) get these concerns and sentiments outside YouTube? Telling each other how bad the coaching is and the season is slipping away makes us (including me) feel better but really doesn't get us anywhere or closer to a new coach which is what the Kings clearly need and is likely to have a positive effect. The way they played the first two months was not a fluke, it showed what they are capable of. The main thing they need now is leadership to get that out of them again. What to do?

Our last chance Eddie is the All-Star break. A chance to re-group. We now look like a young team. How did we go from a deadly team, to a re-build team in 44 games. PLD,=Not Good, Coach=Not Good. We will lose our playoff position around d game 51. We are in big trouble.

The problem with PL Dubois is the coach's problem. Good coaches find the right players to play with each other. PL Dubois did not all of a sudden loose his skill. It's a team sport and the coach needs to find the right players to complement each other. Granted players like Moore and Fiala can play with just about anyone, but Dubois is not like that.
