So someone is returning? Newhook? Or did we already had too many forwards?

  2. WintertimeLivingEasy

    huh?

He’s back in laval to keep Armia on the 2nd?

  3. TripleWDot

Why wouldn’t they do this 2 days ago instead of sending Stephens down?

On a team starved for offence we send a player who was capable of creating offence. He should have had a primary assist in last nights game, beautiful toe drag to setup Monahan. Not sure why Marty broke up the Armia Monahan and Roy line. Really starting to question his lineup decisions, from dressing only 3 centres, going with 7 d-men, 3 goalie rotation?

This was the right move for his development but we still don’t have a fourth center…? Hoping they call Lias Andersson up — I feel like he might surprise people.

    Habs call up Joshua Roy

“He’s not ready, they’re rushing his development”

    Habs send down Joshua Roy

“What are they doing, they’re ruining his development”

This was never expected to be a long-term call up. They gave Roy a taste of the NHL, he looked good at times, but Laval is the best fit for him, right now.

I mean I’m okay with that but Pearson was replacing Stephens, so who’s replacing Roy ? Playing 11/7 with Guhle Matheson Xhekaj Harris Kovacevic Savard and Struble ?

Good now call up a center, wouldn’t mind Lias Andersson getting a shot.

Here for a good time not a long time

I wonder if this is Andersson’s time to shine. I mean they’ve got nothing to lose, a young gun who has shown moments of excellence, for a team that has steadily been declining this month. Why not. After watching Stephens the last little while, and comparing that to his career stats, it’s clear that he isn’t the option, but maybe Lias is?

Either that or they claim Ruzicka, as he had some strength on Calgary and was just waived. Kent does love his Slovaks it seems.

Glad they’re not getting distracted by short-term considerations. This call up was a success for Roy, and he now has additional advice for things to work on.

  12. Ylonen is probably returning from the puck to the ear, so we’re at 12 forwards.

  13. JeanJacquesDatsyuk

He’ll be back after the TDL.

I dont expect Pearson and Monahan to stick around, maybe even Armia and/or Anderson if were lucky. Dvorak out for the season and we can expect other injuries, maybe they’ll give a shot to Heineman or Andersson first, but imo Roy has earned his shot in the NHL even though I understand they have to send him down.

Someone on waivers? Better believe there will be a post asking if we should claim them

They gave him a taste, he showed some good potential – but let’s be honest, no point him being around if we’re gonna stink this badly.
