Kaliyev wants out? Cool, send him out. Send out a few others as well while you're at it. I respect Artie for his dedication to being a good defensive forward, but the Kings don't need him. He's always out on the perimiter and just like that 3rd forward, hoping somehow that the puck lands on his stick for a shot which isn't as lethal in the pros as defenders close quicker and goalies cover more net. Good luck to Artle Partie and farewell. Hopefully, Blek can get a return of some good old-fashioned meat and potatoes in there. Peace!
I said during the winning streak the Kings didn’t have enough sand paper. You laughed me off in fan feedback twice.
The fact is Blake has gotten nothing for his assets and overpaid for his free agents. Dubious and Fiala are good for 3 offensive zone penalties per goal for. Even Kopitar and Danault can’t make up for them as liabilities. What did Blake get for Walker, what did he get for Durzi… poor asset management.
The coach isn’t the problem the GM is. Dubois is a worse contract than Petersen. Blake is over his skis and doubling down. Cut him loose before we lose another Faber.

I went to the ducks v sabres game the night before.
Pretty much the same game with the difference being Gibson in goal who had a great game .
That left me thinking that there was a good chance the kings would likely have a tough game against the sabres.
McClellan has run out of time now.
Putting Byfield back on the first line was premature but I have to say that Byfield played one of his best games this season, working the corners aggressively, some nice stick handling and great passing as well.
Now if could find a shot that would be incredible.
As far as the line up goes Lewis, jad and fagemo are doing absolutely nothing.
Why not try grundstrom, pld, and kaliev on a line.
Nothing to lose there.
Lafferie is making too many poor decisions and maybe should spend a couple of games in the press box .
Not looking good for the kings now and if they think that Ardvanson is going to be a cure all , well that seems highly unlikely.
Their problems run deeper than one winger and they start at the top.

Hi Eddie, love you show. Hope you read this on Friday. I noticed an interesting stat. Since Brant Clarke has been called up this month on the 7th, in the 5 games he has been in, the Kings have given up 4, 5, 5, 4 and 5 goals. In the same period in 5 games Spence played and Clarke has not, the Kings have given up 3, 3, 2, 2 and 1 goal.
