Les Stars de Dallas avancent après leur échec en séries éliminatoires

On attendait plus de cette équipe que ce qu’elle a produit cette saison. Comment vont-ils y remédier cet été ? 1. How about Carter Hutton? Not a long term solution and to be honest with you not sure if he is any better than the two current gentleman in goal for Dallas.

  2. I feel great for about 15 minutes per game when Segs- Benn- Radulov are out there together. Outside of that, I’m not overly optimistic.

  3. Are you still gonna do these types of videos for teams that were eliminated in the playoffs like the kings or my Ducks?

  4. Hopefully we get a deal done for Segs this summer. Get him here for his career. Move methot in offseason. Hanzal actually helped when he was on the ice so maybe we can hope he stays healthy. Kari just needs to go, he has left so much bad taste in dallas fans mouths that I don’t think he can have much confidence here anymore. Spezz retiring would be ideal but doubt he will. I hope we can get a younger coach to develop our play to the quick young pace of today.

  5. Nill has that Detroit stench about him in terms of throwing money around and not being proactive to fix the issues.

  6. Hanzal might be done for and LTIR'ed with his back injuries . I don't think anyone has successfully come back from spinal fusion surgery . For goalie prospects i would think Colton Point is much closer than Oettinger . He's been unreal for Colgate and the only reason that team had any kind of success.

  7. As a Stars fan I'm ready for Kari and Roussel to leave. I dont like Nichuskin, was never sold on him and IS Honka really that good of a Defenseman that you think can turn around this defense? I'm doubting it. The real problem I've had is the Stars and Nill has wanted to build the defense around Klingberg, he is not a #1 and the Stars will not win with him. I want to be wrong, but I don't believe I will be

  8. I'm a big fan of the Stars (I live in Dallas and always go to at least a few home games every season). I've gotta say that I really think the roster for this team is lacking in depth scoring. I don't know if changing the style of play can fix that a bit, but it just seems to me like they need more on the stat sheet from forwards other than Seguin, Benn and Radulov. They also need Ben Bishop to stay healthy and perform at the level he is supposedly capable of (even when he played this season, his play was pretty mediocre). My hope is that they make a move to try and bring in a high end goal scorer for the second line (Benn, Seguin and Radulov should be your top line) and that Nichushkin and Heiskanen come in to the line up next season and work out nicely. If all that happens, then they may have a playoff team that can make some noise. Otherwise, I don't know that next year will be much different from this season. Also, who the heck knows who ends up coaching this team?! I certainly don't. We shall see.

  9. Don’t forget about Colton Point (G). He actually had a better season than Oettinger. Point was a top 10 candidate for the Hobey Baker. Although Oettinger played on a BU team that struggled a bit. Point was also drafted a year earlier but they are both 1998s.

  10. Cool vids, I wonder if team has a med to big cap hit that takes player to near 40 yrs old or older? Thx.

  11. No idea where the stars go from here. I just hope we get a new young coach. The situation we're in really just makes me want to go on NHL 18 and repair the stars in franchise mode. I'd consider putting Nill on the hot seat and see if he can make some trades and GOOD signings to get younger and unleash our talent to our full potential. THG for Stars GM.

  12. Honestly, I’m tired of trying to buy our wins. We should improve our drafting and develop from within. This “winning the offseason” concept does not work. This isn’t the 90’s anymore. We need solid depth scoring, a solid 2 defensive shutdown pair, and a solid goalie duo that can steal games when needed. Jim Nill has been a blessing in some ways but not an end all save all when it comes to the playoffs.

  13. I'm a Stars fan and our depth scoring is terrible. I'd like to see a new #2 center, possibly trade for Pacioretty? We can't be a 1 line team again. Janmark was outstanding and is completely underrated in my opinion. Heiskanen will tear this league apart after a while. Yes, there will be growing pains as with most D-Men, but I've watched some of his Finnish league games and he knows how to play. I'm excited. I think the core is great and I honestly believe the Stars are a center and another winger away from being extremely competitive.

  14. Gurianov has underachieved in regular season but has been big this NHL playoffs. Gurianov and Nichushkin can hopefully learn a lot from Radulov. Also for goalie prospects, look at Colton Point too. He has been tearing it up for Colgate in NCAA.

  15. Depth scoring, Bishop had a fine year till his injury and let’s be honest if he wouldn’t have been injured you would’ve seen Dallas in the playoffs over the Avs, if they can somehow manage to sign Tavares and Nichushkin this summer that should increase the amount of goal production throughout their lineup
