Cette équipe de hockey vient de se sauver

Nous parlons davantage des Oilers d’Edmonton et de leur séquence de 14 victoires consécutives, y compris leurs prouesses défensives et leur profondeur de score. #hockey #lnh #edmontonoilers

  1. They allow the least expected goals against which means they’re making it easy on the goaltender. Having said that, Skinner is also 2nd in the league in goals saved above expected since the coaching change. Power play last year was historically best one ever and this year they haven’t got it into gear yet so they’re only middle of the pack. McDavid and Drai are just coasting for now; haven’t shifted into high gear until it’s needed. It’s like they learned how to turn it on, only when needed.

  2. I mean, we've been hyping up the D on the cult of hockey pod, but it's nice you're bringing awareness to this.

  3. That was obvious in previous seasons. Their previous goalie wasn't confident in the defense that he actually got a record for the most 1st shot goals from the other team. Anyway if you've seen the previous seasons, their powerplay is awesome despite handing out goals in the first minute, they can bounce back to beat the other team or at least catch up from their early deficit.

  4. The 1992-1993 Pittsburgh Penguins, two-time defending Stanley Cup champions, won 17 in a row, the all time NHL record. They went into the playoffs and lost to the NY Islanders, who in turn lost to the Montreal Canadiens in just five games in the Conference Finals.

  5. 3:02 This team has put in the work i nthe playoffs. They've been pushed twice now, by the stanley cup champions. I'm sure they'll be just fine, regular season aside.

  6. I called it from the beginning in the summer, the '23/'24 Oilers are going to change their game as a more defensive sound group to limit their goals against, as well as McDavid Draisaitl will score fewer points than usual.

I had McDavid finishing with no more than 35 goals, 130 points, and Draisaitl with no more than 40 goals and 110 points.
