Remember the last time Tocchet had a one-on-one with Hoglander?
Exactly.
He obviously missed traning camp and in December they canceled a lot of practices because they needed rest so glad to see he’s getting some time with Tocchet to fix some mistakes
Zadarov’s only real bad game since joining us. But it’s good that Tocc is talking to him 1 on 1. That’s what a lot of players like about this coaching staff. They’ll chat with them 1 on 1 and work on the finer details. Having minds like Gonchar and Foote is a real boon too. They been around the block longer than some of these players been alive and they have information that’s very valuable.
Not worried at all about Zad, he’s been really solid for us. I rarely notice him making mistakes. And after a bad game, who else could you possibly want advice from, if not Foote (2 cups), Gonchar (3 cups), Tocchet (3 cups), and the Sedin Twins (HHOF). He will be okay

How bad was he last night? The post game mentioned that he was benched for the third which is rare for a defenseman. Was he that bad?
Coaching staff that cares. This is great and expected from anyone who cares about their job and team.
