  1. While it wasn’t a perfect performance, It was still a good performance. I find it hard to criticize this team too much when they’ve won 15 games in a row.

  2. Pickard was awesome! Ummm Leon was bad I would put Nuge back with Connor and Zack, Leon was better with Kane and warren

  3. There is not much energy from McDavid and RNH's line. I like McLeod and Hollowayt's line. Fast and energetic.

  4. Like i said on Dolyny, its our defense! We're dominating and restricting teams to 2 goals or less without using the trap system. 🫡

  5. 3-0 or 10-1 is still 2 points. 15 wins in a row , next two will be a challenge but doable. Does the team need a goalie ? Picard showing he wants and deserves the job. Not sure if I will get up at 4 am to watch the Preds game. Thanks for the update.

  6. Hi Patrick and all Oilers! WE DID IT AGAIN, NO. 15 with a shot out!!! What a streak.Teamspirit made it going on, and a brilliant goalie too. 27 saves, no goal allowed, penalty saved, perfect! Hope we can go on with this enthusiastic spirit. I had a lot of time looking at the chat and comments today, noticing first critical voices, Oilers, we have a winning streak of 15 games now, getting a great teamspirit back, goalies are getting better and better each game, positve signs for being in the playoffs ! REALLY???!!! If you are bored, close your eyes and think about the beginning of the season, probally you can be on my side, loving the situation now much more than the past! Go on Oilers, make me feel happier each early gameday morning. Now ready for a good breakfast. Cheers from warm germany. Marc

  7. Marmot basin dedicated a sector of the mountain called ,'The Knob!'.They foretold the coming of our coach. How did they know back in the late 70s? Freakin.

  8. I actually would be comfortable with Pickard as the backup in the playoffs. To this point he hasn't slipped up, the team likely trusts him as much as Skinner. There's still a team chemistry aspect to a new goalie coming in. The team is playing better in front of both goalies and the depth looks good!

  9. If they keep play how they are but fix the tiny parts of there game such as stick handling, better passing and there timing and sometimes there positioning and keep there feet moving

  10. Definitely had great defense!! 2 shots in last 10minutes.!! Looking forward to seeing where they fit Corey into the lineup as well!! Holloway and brownie with Perry would be great line I think.

  11. reality is Oilers no longer looking all that strong. always starting slow.. winning on puck-luck/posts, ref call backs, & hot Goalie play… very happy to have a winning team – but more and more looking like the bottom half teams they are playing?? not sure if they are relaxing?

  12. No need to complain so much about the last 2 wins. Sometimes a win is a win. I'm glad it was a 3-0 game. It's better than a 5-2 win in my books. Why does Patrick and the other pundits want to get rid of a backup goalie that's been competent?

  13. Long post follows with base game statistics including some for the Chicago Blackhawks. Read, don't read, up to you. These are BASE stats not detailed ones. My comments and observations at the end.

Oilers Shutout Chicago 3-0 winning their 15th consecutive game. Pickard gets the shutout (and first star) including stopping a penalty shot (yeah it was that kind of a game). McDavid gets 2 goals and an assist (second star), Draisaitl with 3 assists, Hyman gets another goal, you know, business as usual especially as it was 0-0 in the first period, 1-0 for the Oilers after 2 on a powerplay goal then they got 2 more in the 3rd (one of which was an empty netter). Honestly the only reason this wasn't a lot worse for Chicago was Mrazek (who got the 3rd star). Thirteen consecutive games allowing 2 or fewer goals against. Oil keep rolling. Take care all.

  14. to be honest oilers shouldn't have won that jackets game .
huge for pickard as well. ill be at vages game on the 6th hopefully we can get that win that's the one that's a game to test see if there's ready for playoffs in my opinion some might not agree post note i also think Perry on browns line might help brown in near future as they would work good togather
