#NYR
According to a few sources, Filip Chytil was in a minimal contact battle drill with Jake Leschyshyn, stepped on his stick and fell. It’s not conclusive if he hit his head. I did not see it, but I saw him being helped up off the ice after several minutes. #NYR

That’s just horrible frigging luck, my god.
Phantom Jake strikes again 🤦
Jake’s first contribution to the team and it’s this. But also, if this really set him back much rather it happen there than getting rocked in a game, clearly sounds like he was nowhere ready to come back even if they thought otherwise
it’s not Jake Lescshyshyn’s fault at all and it’s ridiculous to blame him for the accident, but it is absolutely worth reminding the field that Drury [had the opportunity to claim Eeli Tolvanen off of waivers](https://twitter.com/IneffectiveMath/status/1602025118879842305) and passed, and then opted to claim Leschyshyn instead
at least he actually was hit instead of just « fainting » like people here were thinking
This was clearly the wrong **D**escshyshyn
He is done
Just pour on the pain, we deserve nothing good in New York
He was in a fucking non contact jersey. Doesnt matter how fucking light it was, HES IN A NON CONTACT JERSEY FOR A REASON
Stepped on his stick and fell no fucking way… it’s like some Final Destination shit. I’m so sad…
Ok let’s think about this he stepped on a stick fell and now has set backs to coming back … wtf was gonna happen in a game .. he needs to take year off I’m worried if he takes a hard hit in his current shape it could be very life altering for him
