At least he’s from Hartford
Not shocked he wasn’t claimed. Kind of funny he can just report whenever he feels like.
This is the opposite story of Oliver Bjorkstrand
Bonino legit treating NYR as his retirement home.
I was hoping he’d clear. Maybe he can help the centers with faceoffs in Hartford lol. I would say this helps us with depth if we get battered with more injuries, but he’s so bad in every way besides faceoffs and blocked shots.
Maybe he’ll rediscover parts of his game down in Hartford in the next few months and if we need him to fill in down the stretch maybe he’ll play better. Him clearing was the best scenario though for sure
might need him some more with the news of Chytil having a setback, so I guess it’s a good thing he cleared.
