  1. A winning streak creates and solidifies the feeling and expectation of more winning. Now the players are identified with success, and that is powerful.

  2. Need a "star" beside this run. Back in the day, when the record was set, there were no OT or shootout victories. Edmonton's run has 2 OT win, making it significant but all the less remarkable. Now 15 consecutive wins in regulation, that would be a story!

  3. The more you win the more confident you get. Ppl always underestimated the Oilers D..yeah it looked horrible from time to time but they needed to be taught how to play the right way. And who better to teach them then one of the greats himself… Coffey. Who's won cups to teach them to play D..all 3 pairings are clicking. If they click that means the goalies are solid and just have to make the saves their supposed to make. Isn't that what we've always been saying the goalies have to make the saves that their supposed to stop. The ones that are supposed to go in will and if you save those fantastic it's saves of the year worthy…..

  4. IF the oilers beat the knights after all star break; they are going to win at least 20 in a row. Beating the Knights will light a new fire under this freight train and keep it rolling a little further.
