  1. Interesting video. I think your tip for the Warriors could honestly be applied to any successful sports franchise in that situation. However, and I know this is just semantics bur I do believe this is important to note, the NHL's got a hard cap. The NBA's got a soft cap. I think that's really important to note in that that situation is something unique that the Warriors can take advantage of, whereas the Sharks and, really, NHL teams don't have the luxury of.

  2. As a Bruins fan, it's still crazy to me that the team has never missed the playoffs more than 2 seasons in a row since the Expansion Era began in 1967. The other Boston teams have gone through rebuilds; the Patriots infamously are now. That's not to say they were always contenders; a lot of 1st round exits over said years. It also helps that the Bruins GM can just locally scout HockeyEast and find some diamonds in the rough. No 1 BU played No 2 BC on NESN last night. No doubt a lot of NHL Scouts were at said game. Maybe Habs GM Kent Hughes was there to watch his son Jack score the lone BU goal.
