Why bring in the one guy that hates Gallagher. Multiple fights in practice. That's just bad. To be fair it was targeted, but to trot out the one guy that has a persistent grudge is nothing more than a hit piece. Gally has no history of this, and Subban is a known cancer. Sour grapes on being drummed out of Montreal is all this is.
Gallagher and Subban have a long running feud since their Montreal days together so I'm sure PK relished this legitimate reason to chirp Gallagher from afar. This jab from PK probably bothered Gallagher more than his NHL suspension.
Horrible hit and a selfish cheap shot by a guy who is not a stranger to cheap shots; he was lucky it did not cost his team a point or two…that kind of disregard for the team should lead to him being sat out by the team (1 game? 2 games?, etc.) when he is eligible to return…team first! and he wears an "A"
Five games doesn't feel like the NHL takes hits to the head serious at all. Maybe after they lose a big lawsuit, like the NFL, things will get more serious.

First I’m not defending Gally. It’s a hit to the head, fine. But I got an honest problem with Pelech though. Players in the NHL nowadays play like it’s a contactless sport. I was watching the game, they showed the hit almost a dozen times and Pelech was looking at Gally until he makes the pass. After that it looks like someone unplugged his controller… I just don’t get it, he knows he would get hit (not to the head) and he doesn’t get ready for it.
There’s so many boarding call because players just stop in 3 feet in front of the board and just expect that they’ll be alright…

Did people even watch the video? When I read (what I know realize is a click bait title) I thought this was a personal attack against an ex-teammate whom PK has had run-ins previously with. Watching the video, his comments were pretty objective and professional lol
