@Rangers de New York

  1. Mike Futag is full of sh*t why don't you go out there and try fighting Wilson yourself see what happens. he is talking bout next year sore loser hell Chara and Dillon were looking for dance partners all game long they couldn't find anybody willing to go.

  2. Buchnevich gets suspended for a game for a crosscheck yet Wilson skates around freely after injuring Panarin and punching Buch in the head repeatedly while he's face down on the ice.
Then the Rangers get fined for speaking out about it. It's beyond ridiculous now…

  3. Panarin crossed the line but not Wilson, and Panarin has got even less, then he deserved. Next game the ice war was organized by Rangers' coach. It was an obvious provocation against Washington club. If the Caps' coach responded with best his fighters, Pangers would be seriously beaten. So Rangers with journalists and other teams support could organize billing the Caps, as the organized bulling Wilson couple days before.

  4. No fuckinway "none of this happens" if Wilson gets a suspension. It wouldn't have happened like this, with was it six fights in one game? But something smaller definitely would have happened, maybe yesterday, maybe next season. Hockey players do not forget.

  5. Isn't like hiring a goon to handle players like Wilson the equivalent of putting a bounty on a player's head? Because what else does a goon do? He's told/given the idea of whom to target and he gets paid for being good at it.

  6. "Its a bad look for the game overall"….. exactly what coach Quinn said about what Wilson did to start all of this. You want to prevent this then prevent the people creating the situations, which is the harder part but until its done this is going to happen. And I'm happy with everything the rangers have done in reaction, teach the league a lesson

  7. When they turned the instigator penalty into a major, they paved the way for cowards and cheap shot artists to run amok. I said it back when they did it and I'll say it now. A fight between willing and evenly matched combatants is a GOOD thing, and the game of hockey needs policing from within. It just does. I don't need to explain it because if you don't get it, you don't understand hockey. Wilson would never have breathed on Panarin if Dave Semenko or Bob Probert, or Joe Kocur, or Basil McRae, you name em, were in the league and allowed to do their thing. You can have guys like that who can play, but you need guys like that.

  8. THE NHL DEPT OF PLAYER SAFETY & GARY BETTMAN FAILED BIG TIME. You guys should be embarrassed. Absolutely ridiculous.

  9. Someones going to put Wilsons head through the boards. If the league doesnt punish players, other players are going to punish players. Someones got to do him bad.

  10. As much as I hate teams like the Capitals, Flyers, and Bruins, the Rangers have always been a bunch of big hairy pussies. I still remember Dave Shultz knocking out Dale Rolph with one punch back in the '70s. I couldn't take it anymore and became an Islanders fan.

  11. If Wilson deployed his physicality with a tad more honor and dignity and discipline I’d be a fan. He’s a great player. But man is he a complete toolbag. Marchand is likable in comparison and shits on Wilson points and skill wise

  12. The only problem I see is that the Rangers don’t have anyone who can put Wilson’s head through the glass. Maybe next year.

  13. I think you're all dumb. That game was fucking awesome. I had so much fun watching it. The drama, the fighting. I think it was a GOOD look for hockey. People who don't generally watch hockey are gonna see that and think "Holy shit that's what this is about?!" And they're gonna tune in more often to see dudes beat the shit out of eachother. And the more they watch, the more the learn about the game and maybe they become a more consistent fan.

  14. I’m a huge Tom Wilson fan but I didn’t like Tom’s pose in the penalty box. No one talks about what was happening to Vanecek or Panarin’s choke hold on Tom.

  15. Ever play hockey? The most frustrating and satisfying game ever. The strongest mental and physical teams every year win the Stanley cup. I played for 45 years, this stuff happens and the more you play the same team over and over competition can get out of hand. You can make all the rules you want but it’s a physical competitive sport and tempers flare.

  16. If a known tough guy rag dolls Marner and puts him out of the 1st playoff series to gain an advantage and the league punishment is the same
…just a cash fine and two minor penalties for roughing (punching a defenceless guy in the back of the head)and a 10-minute misconduct penalty…the precedent has been set
How does Parros still have the players safety job?
How did a past enforcer get the job in the 1st place?

  17. We dont need en enforcer. What the rangers need is a lineup of heavy skaters
I am sick of going back in time to dale Rolf or Jeff bloomberg…enuf alteady. Didnt we learn this lesson in the late 70s???

  18. As long as Wilson is in the league he will have a price on his head ….if I were the rangers coach everytime he takes a shift I would heve one Guy packing his life misérable…
