He’s a great fit for our prospect pool.
Is one of the reasons that he can be a starter as soon as he drives to Chicago because we suck?
Probably projects as a bottom 6 power forward type?
Straight to the Hawks then the Hogs for the playoffs.
🔥
What’s his ceiling? Andrew Shaw? Ryan Hartman? Stalberg?
25 points in 26 games, seems like a good fit for what Davidson is building here! The future is exciting!
Reading the article, I actually really like his reasoning for turning down the Hawks contract offer last year and going back for his senior season. It seems like he worked really hard on improving important aspects of his game, and I don’t see anything wrong with wanting to mentor his younger brother like his older brother did for him, and to end his collegiate career on a high note.
He’s right that the Hawks will be getting a more developed player in him this year and it likely sets himself and the organization up to hit the ground running when he signs.
I also appreciated the way he spoke respectfully about the organization and his gratitude for the way they gave him he time and space to make his decision. It reflects well upon Assistant GM Eaton and the rest of the organization involved in scouting, drafting and most importantly developing their assets.
Exciting times ahead!
