1. I think one thing that you didn't grace over is for this entire time with Cassidy as coach Tuukka played 50 or more games without a really solid backup that could play as well and as much as Halak can and the first year with Halak splitting most of the season with Rask they went to the final and I think that's a huge factor and would have been a huge factor this year as well but still is going to be interesting to see what would and might still happen

  2. you showed why the NHL is great. it feels like all playoffteams have a chance to win the cup. whereas in the NBA only 2-4 teams really have a chance and everyone knows it.

  3. Even as a Bruins fan I don’t think they will win the Cup if the playoffs are played I think they will be up there but the more likely cup winners are the Lightning, Avalanche or as a dark horse the Hurricanes

  4. There seems to be less correlation between regular season success and playoff success in hockey than any other sport. Any idea Why?

  5. In capped NHL the best team in the East is never in the finals somehow… Though teams below 4 in the East are rarely in the finals and never won the Cup as well, so kinda balance, I guess…

  6. 7:21 – I don't remember if I picked them to win the SC that year, but I do remember loading up on Bruins (including Marchand in his rookie year) in my playoff pool and winning it that year.

  7. I'm a current Blues fan but many years ago I was a Bruins fan as well as a Blues fan. Our minor league team in are in my area was affiliated with Boston. So many of the players that played here played in Boston. Keep in mind this was many years ago. And I was very disappointed and to me this is one of the biggest disappointments in Bruins history was the bouncing the 1970-71 team how does the playoffs by the Canadians. In my humble opinion that should have been three straight cups.

  8. I've always said and I think the blues proved it last year the team that gets the hottest towards the end is the team to look out for. Works the same in all sports

  9. If you haven't already done it and I missed it, he brought up something in this video that I think would be a good subject for one of your videos. Is the Presidents Cup a curse or not? Are some teams cursed and some teams not?
