I think the crazy line changes only benefits the puck. Stop making it about the line and what we should be "trying" to achieve. Play hockey!
If Sid is the dictionary definition of consistency, Malkin is the definition of mercurial.
Pleased to see Lars Eller score on his celebration night for 1,000 games; even better capped by a W!
What do u think about the powerplay..when he took wric ,an malkin off it..they shot alot more had more chances..
Riley smith can go..he doesnt want to be here anyways..
I could live without malkin..think he has hit the same wall the alex ove,has hit
Has there been a player's only meeting yet this year? If not, then the Pens are toast.
It's funny – if you asked me the "type" of player that would thrive under Sullivan's "just try harder" non-system (how much of that comes from Sid?), it would be Lars Eller. It would NOT be Graves, Smith, Karlsson, but I can understand what Dubas was trying to do with each.
Karlsson's numbers are right around his recent career averages, btw.
And as happy as I am for Pettersson's shocking goal and consistent play, he's been consistently brutal in front of the net.
But not as brutal as the PP, which has ruined the top 5 goaltending we've gotten in the first half.
The team is missing that sense of "licking your chops opportunism" – because dad only tells you to do your chores and everything will work out.
Good for Eller – I did not like though Sully starting him in OT – almost cost them the game… sorry, but I don't care that it was his 1000th game… you don't start Eller in OT.
We've Got The Group? That's a Roxette song, right? "What in the world can make a brown-eyed girl turn blue"
