   This chart is not indicative of speed. It’s indicative of bursts of speed, not average speed.

   Some interesting company in there. I wish they didnt hide the numbers to protect the players. We could have so much data like actual average speed etc

   And only one Canuck is on the « fastest » chart, Lafferty at #12.

   EDIT: And Garland it looks like (strange, he doesn’t seem like the fastest guy). Weird that Petey is nowhere to be seen on there, though.

   Still, most the of the bottom of the chart are good players. Not such an important stat. Speed bursts aren’t speed or skill. Like I’d take Matthew Tkachuk over 98% of players in the league.

   Useless stat unless you want to build a team of speedsters. But speed doesn’t mean effectiveness.
