That would be the dumbest move ever. Even if he’s not the best defensemen, he still one of the biggest and toughest guys in the entire league and will be invaluable in the playoffs.

There’s almost a 0% chance we will re-sign him. He wants long term and that would be dumb. So if they can find a piece that helps us compete in the next 2-3 years but isn’t going to come with an anchor contract you probably do it. Especially if it’s a RHD…
Remember that defenceman the Canucks got that really bolstered their depth and gave them a reliable group on the left side? Yeah I could see him being traded….. what a stupid rumour honestly. The team gets him while Soucy was hurt and played incredible with him and now people think he’ll be traded? What a nothing burger indeed.

We need more depth D not less. If anything the Canucks are looking to add a 7th D for a playoff run. Unless they trade him for an upgrade on D or something.

As a fan seeing things from the outside it would be utter madness to trade Z. But I trust Allvin and Rutherford so if there’s ANY truth to this rumour, I’m just gonna let them cook
Hmmm, three days ago Zadorov said that the team should try being tough to play against for once – and, all of a sudden, he’s on the trade-block? Did we re-hire Jim Benning or something?
far fetched, only way this happens is if a team offers us a sweetheart deal(that would help land tanev, in combination with big Z asking for the moon on his next deal, I dont think either of these things come to light
