#lnl #hockey

  1. The more and more Kucherov is in this league I have to ask myself this. How the heck did teams pass on him twice in 2011??? He had 11 goals in the u18's and had MHL stats comparable to Demidov!!

  2. I'm rooting for MacKinnon so hard this year. Throughout his entire career, he's always been 2nd to someone else. 2nd in the Hart race twice. 2nd in the Conn Smythe race. 2nd in the Art Ross last year. And now, 2nd in both the Hart and Art Ross again this year. MacKinnon is long overdue for his Hart Trophy and he doesn't have many chances left to snag it. Kucherov is insane, but he already got his Art Ross and Hart. I really hope that this is the year where MacKinnon finally comes out on top.

  3. This was a cool video to watch, I’m a diehard bolts fan and watch every game so seeing someone else break down the same players I watch all the time is super interesting, would love some coverage of Hagel or Point, both are subtly having solid seasons of their own

  4. Helle and Vasilevskiy. They have been going at it for a while now. They both have been very consistent over the years.

  5. Mackinnon is much more fun to watch. No one matches his intensity! My favorite player atm. Go Nordiques!

  6. Avs fan here…loving the back and forth these guys are having. And if you know Mackinnon, this dude thrives on competition…so he won’t give up easily!

  7. Kuch is my main man. What you'll see is, unlike a lot of guys who don't score frequently, Kuch never fires the puck right into the goalies emblem. The goalie always has to make a move. And along with everything else the Bolts do, playing the old la-dee-dah coming over the line and dictating the pace. That's a huge advantage. And he's cleaned up the wearing the heart on his sleeve and looking at the sky everytime a shot doesn't go in (mostly). Dudes intense. Nothing beats the "no celly celly" though. Little fist pump, that's it. Ice.

  8. MacDawg goes N/S and Kuch goes E/W, both score points like its nothing and can switch up their style when the situation calls for it. This is only good for Hockey in general. But, Mac takes the cake for me; he's got that fight in him you just don't see in too many top line players anymore.

  9. Kucherov is one of my favorite players simply because there's really no other player like him. Of course, MacKinnon's traits like his speed, skating, and strength make him a premier player in the league; but the ability of Kucherov to sit back and slow the game down is something very few players possess. He knows where his teammates will be, which ones will be open, and is always trying a new play to put more pressure on a team's backcheck and defense. While he is the best scorer Tampa has, he primarily still chooses to pass over any other option most of the time, meaning that just covering Kucherov is an easy way to get burned. So many teams get lured into double covering him, leaving to an open man on the other side of the ice, before the puck hits the net.

  10. We just watched Mcdavid put up over 150 points last season. This stuff is not special in comparison.

  11. Matthews/Pasta/Rantanen comparison might be interesting, specifically Pasta/Rantanen. Matthews is a goal-scorer but in terms of hockey player tier-lists I feel like most people would have him one level over pasta/rantanen overall, so I feel like a comparison between Pastrnak and Rantanen could be neat.

  12. You could also compare Matthews and Matthews. Because there is no one to compete with him.

  13. As an avsfan, I wish nothing but the best for both players this season and beyond. But come playoff time, Nate puts it into overdrive and can almost single handedly win a game by taking matters into his own hands. His playoff stats do not lie.

  14. I think Kuch isnt talked about enough for how well hes doing years after years. He also makes it look effortless.

  15. I feel like a comparison between prime Ovechkin and current Matthews would be interesting. Generally it’s accepted that Matthews has taken the title of best current goal scorer, but Ovi is obviously still the best active goalscorer based on his total body of work.

  16. Kuch and Mack are gonna single handedly drag their teams to the playoffs and drag them on a run, both are very flaws teams yet are soemhow pretty good rn lol

  17. Lmaooooo. MacD learned how to win…… not go get points….. look out……same with Drai. They are into cups now, playing for knobby…..they couldn't care about the heater they're on either…… look out……

  18. As a leafs fan thank you for not just covering Mathew’s!! I can’t stand how he always gets attention!!! There are way better players that deserve the recognition

  19. This is the NHL’s version of “You’re the guy, but I wanna be the guy too”. It’s so awesome.

  20. I think a Pasta vs Matthew’s video would be good because they are both good proven goal scorers and they put up around the same points this season while Pasta seems to be a more all around point getter and player while Matthew’s has a knack for knowing where to be to score
