If the Canucks get Jake Gentzul, then Pettersson can come off Miller's line. Miller/Boeser as one duo with Pettersson/Gentzul as the other duo. Hoglander, Mikheyev, Kuzmenko, etc can fill the other winger spots on those lines. Then you don't have to move Joshua down at all, and leave the Joshua-Blugar-Garland line in tact.

People in Kings circles are frustrated with McLellan for refusing to play younger players over other depth players who aren’t producing. Byfield rarely ever plays in overtime at all. Kaliyev is constantly in the dog house. Brandt Clarke and Jordan Spence are on a rotation while Andreas Englund has a consistent roster spot most likely because he throws a big hit once every other game. Not to mention they bring up the Kings reverse sweeping the Sharks in 2014 to demonstrate his lack of playoff success.
Fans are fed up, multiple people held up “Fire Todd” signs behind the intermission broadcasters over the last few games.
If Perry replaces Hamblin in that exact lineup that might be the most depth of anyone in the league. 12 legitimate full time NHL players. You really dont see that often.

18:00 … What's amazing about the Oilers. They have a 13 game winning streak and have only gained 6 points on the Canucks during that time, as they've been 9-2-2 in that time. At this pace, they would have to win nearly every game for the rest of the season to catch the Canucks.
kyle davidson has been hockey staff since he was 18. he was an assistant equipment manager in the NOJHL. in 2009-10 he was an intern in ottawa as a 22 year old, and from 2010-11 he became an intern for the blackhawks, then stuck around as a manager of hockey admin until he became an AGM in 2019. it was his AGM who came from the cubs and has since left for the detroit tigers

I personally like what keefe did. The leads go on a winning streak playing bad teams, but there may have been bad habits gained through playing them all in a row.
Keefe didnt start the games changing up the lines when they went on thebloosing streak, he got fed up with seeing what he was seeing after the second period and kept the lines messed up to send a message.
I think the message was dont get comfortable playing on the line your on. No spot is safe. I think it woke the team up and they played alot more detailed oriented, even in the vancouver game.
These next two games against the jet will determine if theyve received the message or not

I dont like reaves as a player and have known he is basically a ahl 4th liner with a big personality that probably kept him in the league all these years. But i dont like how you blame him for everything. He is probably back to what he was when the leafs signed him and probably the last couple of seasons aswell. And just because you wanted him on LTIR because he doesnt count towards the cap because he is bad thats not on him thats on the gm. I hate cheaters and trying to argue that a player that you signed is to injured to play when he is probably at the same level as when you signed him and passed YOUR physical thats on you.
Sens won the Phaneuf trade btw. Was a big part of an ECF run, and the Leafs had nothing to show for the deal. Contract wasn’t good, but they moved on from him painlessly

I'm a proud "we" sayer…saying "We" is a subconscious signal about a feeling, the connection the fan has with their team. Fans literally buy into the team in lesser and greater amounts when a fan buys the hat, then the jersey, the tickets, or heck the lucky few with season tickets fans are they not stakeholders in the team? People invest themselves into the team. So damn right it's "We". The team is a part of you, like a best friend. No "we"" don't work for the company but the performance of the hockey team has direct impact on us. "We" just says, I'm a part of this.

Reaves isn't on LTIR, just on IR so there is no cap implications. They don't have to justify having him on IR to the league, they only need to justify it if they want to put him on LTIR.
As a Wings fan, it's kind of nice seeing them get as frustrated with Tyler Bertuzzi as we did here. When he was on, he was untouchable, when he's off he makes a blizzard look tropical.

Diehard Flames fan here. I’ve watched nearly every Flames game since 2000. I turned off those last Flames Canucks game about halfway through. It was absolutely horrendous. It was like watching a bunch of people in detention.

I know a lot of people don't like him, but the personality that Matthew Tkachuk brought to the Stanley Cup playoffs last season was great. It's a shame he won't be at the all star game, as an american player who is only 25 he would be better than the Hughes brothers whose personalities are quite bland.
