I’m not sure that’s the play. It’s certainly fair, in my opinion, to start seriously questioning this core and whether they have what it takes to bring a Cup to New York. Were I in Drury’s shoes, I’d stand pat at the deadline, and then consider tearing down in the offseason if the better path forward goes through a full rebuild.

Snark aside, I don’t know where they’re getting in the article that is believed Chytil had another concussion from that incident. I’m really hoping that’s not true.
It’s a weird position where everyone knows we need a 3c, but I don’t know how much extra leverage that gives other teams or whether it’s a definite that we need a middleman as the article states (I assume to retain even more salary).

I’m afraid that we are at a crossroads. Our core is getting older especially on the offensive side and we probably need more than a C to win it all. We need RW goal scorer and probably another 4th liner like Motte. May need a stay at home D if Miller and Schneider can’t get their shit together. I’d love for Jones to play as he can provide a lot of offense but it probably ain’t happening unless someone gets hurt.
Our ECF team had 3 lines that can compete with anyone 5v5 (with kid line being the best) and a very solid checking line. Igor was at his peak and stole a few games for us as well. I just don’t see this team as good as that team right now.

Can’t wait for Chris Drury to spend 2 firsts on Adam Henrique

A bottom 6 center sure. But what we really need is to stop trading away all our damn picks so we can get our pipeline back on top

Idk the Brodzinski line has been the best line for weeks
