didn’t address needs in the off-season. Way to go, Kevyn.

    > #### Sabres fans are sick of hearing about the future.

    > Four general managers have promised better days and playoff success since Buffalo’s last postseason appearance in 2011. Six head coaches have stood behind the bench since Lindy Ruff was fired by Pegula in 2013. One promising group of young players was replaced by another. Last season’s Stanley Cup Final featured two of Buffalo’s former stars and ended with its maligned ex-captain, Jack Eichel, celebrating a championship with the Vegas Golden Knights. More pleas for patience will be met with eye rolls and calls for change.

    > Adams created a sound roster-building plan once Eichel and Sam Reinhart asked out of Buffalo.

    > The Sabres acquired NHL talent, talented prospects and first-round draft picks. Their coaching staff developed former general manager Jason Botterill’s draft picks and acquisitions into possible franchise pillars: Rasmus Dahlin, Mattias Samuelsson, Dylan Cozens, Tage Thompson and Mittelstadt. Smart scouting and drafting brought Buffalo players like Jack Quinn, JJ Peterka, Owen Power, Isak Rosen, Matt Savoie, Noah Ostlund, Jiri Kulich and Zach Benson.

    > This season must be a wake-up call for Adams and Pegula, though.

Click the link above, it’s a long list of body blows by Lance. A good read.

Also, someone should let him know “future considerations” won’t be playing on his hockey team.

The problem is pretty simple. They lose games 10 minutes into the 1st period all the god damn time. I don’t have any exact data on this but if I would have to guess we have been trailing by 2 goals in the first period probably 30% of our games.

The easy stats to get are 35 1st period GF and 62 GA. The are 3-17-2 when trailing after the 1st, which means about half their games they are down after the first period, and then they only win a little over 10% of those games.

They don’t start playing until halfway through the game.

This title or excerpt is either the dumbest thing I’ve read today or the most hilarious if it’s tongue in cheek
