I mean, in a business sense, yeah i see the motivation to move an asset about to implode.
But as a member of the community of hockey fans, fuck man, take the L. This isn’t a Miller situation where what he did was horrible, this had the added bonus of being criminal.
All these player were given a shot and most made the NHL and each of these teams knew these players were involved but still looked the other way. To be honest when I heard the rumors I wished we got Carey Price lite. Didn’t want PLD another Drouin type situation. So we can be very thankful we avoided those.
