Disgusting game. Huge regression by a lot of key players. Poor backchecking by Kyrou. Fluffy, overcomplicated passing by RobThom. Reluctancy to shoot all around. Some strange giveaways by Parayko. Saad looked abysmal too. Alexandrov was a black hole when he was on the ice. Only people really playing with any measure of intensity was Alexandrov and Neighbours. Passing overall was bad and almost no good offense was generated because no one was in the crease. Power play looked bad too.
I don’t know when the Blues will get it through their thick skulls that they need to be winning *these* games. These are the games you are SUPPOSED to win. These are the games that you get your easy points in. Not fucking Vancouver and Rangers. Beating the great teams is incredible but with every game we drop to a bad team like Columbus or Chicago is 2 points we cannot afford to give up in the race.

Pretty obvious boys decided to phone this one in. Feeling too good about themselves and ready for the break. One of the most low effort games I can remember.

It’s truly amazing how this team can go toe to toe with the best teams, but then shit the bed against the worst teams in the league. Binner was solid for the whole game as usual, Buchy was snakebitten again, Neighbors tried so very hard, but I think the rest of the guys were already on break.
I think a string of 1-goal wins may have made us forget who this team really is.
As a lifelong fan, this loss to this team after this streak is exactly what I should have expected

When buch quadruple clutched that shot I knew it was going way too high.
That being said if you told me we’d be in a playoff spot at the all star break at the beginning of the season I’d take it. LGB
Other than point total, I can’t figure out how this team is in a playoff spot. We’re as inconsistent as the breese direction, and those ot wins don’t really impress me much – feels like cheap wins.
Terrible but expected
Was at the game. Both teams played absolutely awful. Our passing is holy shit bad. The only shot that had a chance to go in was scorpion saved by Elvis.

If you changed up the last 3 games and said win loss win or loss win win. You would have taken it. Reality is we got the best scenario of that. The question is, can the team prove us wrong after the break when they have 2 more under 500 teams to play. They need to come out of the gate humming
Both teams looked ready for vacation
Team was too high on themselves and was ready for the All-Star Break. They coasted. Hopefully, Bannister can get them back to being humble and hungry after that loss, and they work their asses off attacking recovery over the break. Then, freaking absolutely play like screaming banchees until the deadline and fight to keep the team together. Moneypuck still only gives our Blues a 20% chance to make the playoffs – this team still has a lot to prove still.
