(PHNX) Elliotte Friedman : Le Conseil des gouverneurs de la LNH a perdu patience face à la saga de l’arène des Coyotes

Je suis surpris que cela n’ait pas encore été publié. On dirait que cette annonce de vendredi est décisive.

Glad someone is lighting a fire under them over this. It’s been long enough.

  2. I just want it to end. one way or the other.

Later in the show they mention that Friday isnt a deadline, but it will be very telling. And while the Friday presser isnt the absolute deadline, the team genuinely needs to be executing on a concrete plan within the next couple of weeks or we are fucked.

Really feels like this is the end. I don’t think they have anything up their sleeves, we’d have rumors and inklings by now. They’ve exhausted too many avenues and burned too many bridges over the years. Of course I hope I’m wrong, but it’s just never fucking ending with this team.

I live in Phoenix and I’m a yotes fan. It’s time to move them, just sick of the bullshit up and down.

It’s gonna suck so much if they relocate. They have a fun, young team that will be exciting to watch, just in time for them to go somewhere else. It’s a travesty for the fans and the valley in general

Fuck man. This is a different kind of semi hopelessness compared to the Tempe vote. This just sucks so so bad.

Apparently this was reported back after the last BOG meeting (December?), but Morgan noted the deadline was walked back a little. Total coincidence that was the last time they leaked anything to the press??

In the end both the owners and the NHLPA are tired of it. My guess is that the other owners don’t care for Mereulo and all he’s done is get evicted, have Katie Strang set up shop and fail to deliver his promised new revenues with a new entertainment district.

It just feels like there’s no more gas left in the tank. The organization has been dead silent on any future arena plan since the Tempe vote over 6 months ago. Really hope it’s not the end.

  10. Honestly, let Utah slc super group purchase them. We tried or didn’t. Bettman, bet on us; let him own it with rewarding a group who wants hockey in a place that can provide it.

Ever get that feeling a spouse is cheating on you? That’s how I feel with the Coyotes. I got this feeling they are doing something behind our backs, I just don’t know what it is and we can’t prove it. We still love them so we pretend it isn’t happening.

Should’ve just stayed in Glendale, seriously moving without an arena plan?? What the fuck were they thinking??

The NHL is going to move us to Utah and it’s completely our fault
