1. So when he said he did nothing wrong and was not involved, that was a lie? Big shocker to all the Twitter Bros who've been defending him lately

  2. As Flyers fans, I don’t think we should be looking at this situation from a Flyers perspective. The fact is Carter Hart has potentially done something absolutely horrible. My point being that we are not the victims, so let’s not shift the conversation to "how does this impact the flyers". This is a more general statement rather than a reaction to the commentary in this video. I hope this makes sense.

  3. Hate to say it but HART is the only one that will be back in the league the other 4 won’t and I agree none of them should be back in league but if there is one to play in the league again it is Hart

  4. After hearing more of the details from the Canadian journalist pursuing the right to know and making police documents public, if those details are true, I personally don’t want him back.

  5. I think it’s important to remember that these guys aren’t guilty until they’re convicted. Being charged doesn’t make them guilty. IF they’re in fact guilty, I hope they’ll never get the chance to play professional hockey again, and even more importantly: I hope they don’t have any more victims in the past, present og future. I’m a big Blackhawks fan, and I want none of those in the know of what transpired there in 2010 ever working in hockey again, including current Winnipeg Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff. Even if he wasn’t the main culprit in holding this a secret, he certainly knew all about it but chose to protect himself rather than the lives of two vulnerable teenagers/young adults. Him still working in the NHL, as a GM, mind you, is so weird to me…

  6. What a stupid question you asked Briere. Things always have to play out to see what will happen, but you obviously don't have the intelligence to understand that.

  7. Sad, he was so sweet and humble, wouldnt have expected him to be one involved in this. Im still waiting for official statements and convictions but i know people show their true colors eventually… just sayin when Hart first got here if you told years later he would be involved in something like this, with his is timid demeanor and soft nature, i wouldnt believe you.

  8. Not over yet. Ben Rothlessburger, Kobe Bryant, and Peyton Manning all had long careers.

Now is time to sell. Flyers cannot make playoffs this year.

  9. Innocent until proven guilty. Getting charged does not mean guilty. You are innocent until you are ruled guilty in court. Rushing to conclusions is ridiculous. Hope the woman involved is good but that doesn’t mean it could turn into false allegations. Lots of people would do anything for money and fame and for people to have the audacity to say “hockey culture is so toxic”… this has been going on since the beginning of time, it’s not just hockey culture. That’s insane.

  10. If the woman is on tape saying “I’m good with this and I’m not drunk”…. Then the next day she regrets it and claims sexual assault … that is NOT sexual assault. It’s dubious for sure. But was she held down with force against her will? If so then different story. If not – and she is there voluntarily then it’s very difficult to claim assault. These men are innocent until proven otherwise. If we are being asked to “believe all women” then the same holds true for the defendants.. “believe all men”. Both statements are preposterous . If these players are not found to have committed criminal conduct – they should be reinstated. If the converse is true then the legal system will sentence them. In this woke cancel culture where justice is sometimes suspect – I hope the truth is discovered.

  11. They haven't even gone to court yet. They just got accused and everyone is acting like they are all guilty. I thought people would have learned from the Johnny Depp and Amber Turd trial not to just immediately assume that the accusations are hard facts and the case is already closed. No one has even heard their side.

  12. It’s interesting that Kobe Bryant is revered in this town yet he was accused of rape (he also played the entire 2003-04 season) before the trial. Yet there are people saying Hart should never play a game as he awaits trial?

  13. So no due process. You’re judge and jury apparently. Was the victims statement that she wanted retracted being done under pressure? Listen, if the fuckers did what is alleged. Bury them under the prison along with the Canada Hockey officials that possibly executed a cover up. However, until a conviction is issued, it’s reckless to speculate and quite possibly slanderous.

  14. Can’t trust anyone . Our goalie situation has been screwed up for 40 plus years . 3 of them are dead now lindbergh , emery and czechmanek. . One is headed to klink now . First it was bernies eye then chaos for 40 plus years .

  15. I think the league has to be really careful in potentially wiping out contracts based on allegations and charges. Historically there has been some pretty negative stuff at play with some of the guys who’ve donned NHL sweaters. And some have even killed people, accidentally or no, with no termination of contracts and being allowed to play a full career. It’s disappointing that we even have to be having these conversations, and of they’re guilty of these allegations I have no problem seeing them booted. But hopefully some level heads will look at this and whatever the deviations made they also come with some specific and solid explanations.

  16. “This is a HOAX WICH HUNT just like all of my charges!! These young men were Entitled to have SEX with this young lady because they are all celebrity like ME!!” King Trump

  17. Jake Virtanen was found innocent on his rape charges His contract was cancelled and he will likely not play again. Part is he sucked but still he may have gotten another chance if not for the false accusations. Let's not cancel these guys because they have been accused there are mentally ill women out there who have regret sex. It looks bad for them though that hockey Canada paid her 3.5 million to be quiet though. Innocent till proven guilty. We need to get back to those days. Not me too BS.

  18. I'm not sure how civil proceedings work in Canada but if this goes to a trial or there is a plea deal that might not be the end of their careers completely. Look at the Vince McMahon situation. His behavior was absolutely far worse than the alleged assault here. He's only being sued in civil court so it'll be monetary damages. I leave my judgement for the court case and proceedings.

What's really important here is Hockey Canada and their response. Remember the victim sued and there was a financial settlement and that's what lead to all this. Uncovering that a slush fund existed to payoff victims. That tells me there is a bigger issue here.

  19. The flyers should allow fans to trade I jersey for a jersey of the choice. There known about this and some fans didn’t….they should do right thing and allow fans to trade In jerseys. There known for at least a year….

  20. The flyers need to answer this single question! DID THEY TRY TO TRADE CARTER HART LAST YEAR! Answer the question Danny Briere!
