This was my favorite moment ever while watching hockey. As RJ amplified his narration, "And everybody pairing off at center…and they all pile in there now…", I jumped up from sitting on the couch and started yelling at that TV with so much joy. And then I called my goalie and he said he did the same thing. It was just fantastic. Every now and again I watch this to feel that joy I still get from watching it. I'm a Buffalonian, obviously. Fuck the Senators. Bunch of dirty cunts, they are. Always were too. We can't help it that y'all have sucked forever.
And another thing; I love Lindy going "Go after Peters. Go after Peters. DON'T GO AFTER OUR FUCKIN' CAPTAIN!". That was a nice little moment
After watching this, I am happy the Devils hired Ruff!

Greatest regular season game of hockey I've ever seen. Maybe any sport. These teams already had bad blood, then this happened. And on top of all this, the game was back and forth, ended regulation in a 5-5 tie, and had to go to a shootout with the backup goalies (because the starters where ejected for fighting). Sabres won 6-5 in the shootout. Electrifying.

Hardcore Sens fan here – remember watching this live and the adrenaline was pumping! Lindy Ruff saying at 1:42 that it was an elbow. It wasn’t. Elbow tucked in at point of contact.
But it was 9,000% late. Bad hit by Neil and the retribution was deserved. Made for a classic!!!!!
