  2. That mock trade was hot garbage
    Frederic and poitras aren’t touchable
Also the Flames are acting like Lindholm is a 1C when he’s a middle six center on a contender they’re delusional

  3. Man, losing any of these players for the length of time you mentioned would be really bad, but Carter Hart out for one to two years waitlng to go to trial? That does not look good for anybody. I have to think because of the high degree of importance and money in this case that it has to get fast tracked or settled in the summer out of court.

  4. The five arrested. You are not guilty until proven innocent.
The case as we know it: London golf tournament after the gold win. Jane Doe goes to a bar where it’s known they are going to be at. Meets one of them and they go to a hotel to fornicate (re: one night stand) Then the accusation is that the other four were brought in and it’s alleged they r*** her.
Fast forward quickly and Hockey Canada settled with her after a quick 3.5 million lawsuit that was filed by Jane Doe. It was quietly settled out of court. So she got paid like north of a million. You can call it hush money, but it is what it is… that doesn’t automatically assign guilt.
What strikes me is that she opened it up again, well after at least 4 of them had signed decent pro contracts.
Was this a real r*** or was she a honey pot puck bunny angling for a pay out?
Hockey Canada employs good lawyers… what caused the lawyers to settle? Did they see the evidence, knew it was a scam, but wanted to quietly make it go away after a gold medal? Because any father/lawyer would have quit in disgust if it was a true gang r*** imo
I’ll leave it as don’t assume guilt until it all plays out… it looks a bit fishy.

  5. Imagine if Pee Wee Bettman tried half as hard to keep the Nordiques in Québec city. He gave up so fast on QC. 😡🏒

  6. Poitras was playing 2nd line C in the NHL at 19 on year 1 of his ELC. There is 0.0% chance the Bruins include him on an expiring Lindholm deal.

  7. Why on earth would Tanev want to go to a last place team (Sens)? That makes no sense because they don't need a rental and there's no way he's resigning there in the offseason.

  8. The Bruins can get him next year for nothing. They should just sure up the fourth line for this year. Can’t afford to give up first round pick

  9. "IF" Dillon failed to tell the team the real reason for his leave of absence, Flames should terminate his contract IMMEDIATELY! "IF" the Flames knew the real reason why for his leave of absence, They should be held accountable for misleading and lying to the fans of the team, and fans of the NHL and should be prosecuted appropriately. Going to be an interesting next 2 years as this thing unfolds.

  10. Look at the timeline of events. Dube was the first to leave, so there was no real connection at the time. Did you expect the Flames to question Dube about the validity of his mental health? Literally the only connection at the time was that he played on that WJ team. Nothing else. It's easy to talk about it in retrospect, but at the time, no one made this connection. It wasn't until Hart also left his team that people started making this connection. Also, think about this logically and not emotionally. If the Flames knew that Dube would be getting charged, do you really think that they would say he is leaving for mental health, especially after how well they handled the Kylington situation. Like you really think that the Flames would protect Dube's public image for a mere two days. Makes absolutely no sense. Why do people think that everyone has bad intentions these days. People want a witch hunt at every turn. Getting ridiculous. Btw I'm not talking about you specifically, but rather the general sentiment.

  11. As much as Tanev would be a great fit in Ottawa, they shouldn't give up assets for him unless they know he'll extend.. would make more sense to go after him in free agency, and if they can't get him, try for DeMelo, him and Chabby played well together in the past. A backline on Sanderson – Zub Chabby – Tanev/DeMelo. Chych – JBD with either branny or Klevin as the spare looks good to me

  12. Really dude? How much had it been commented on over the past 2 months that Dubes game is totally off for "some reason"? OBVIOUSLY if you are a target of an investigation WHICH his layer would have known in advance WOULD have affected his mental health giving legitimacy to his statement and walking away from the game just before the charges.
Also if the Flames said anything else like sharing their personal opinion which you seem to be so liberal in doing the NHLPA would have been all over them. Sorry pal but this "report" of yours is 💩 Unsubscribed

  13. Lindholm stats aren't that great. The flames aren't great either. He isn't going to be the difference maker. His price will be expensive on the current market. Whomever lands Lindholm will have overpaid.

  14. Hey, I'm a big fan of your videos! I watch every day and "like" each one to support! Just a small point on something I noticed in a few videos – in the Canadian criminal justice system, individuals are not "found innocent". Accused persons are found "guilty" or "not guilty". There's an important difference between "not guilty" and "innocent". When the court finds an accused "not guilty" it means that there was insufficient evidence to discharge the very high burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. In other words, there is not enough evidence to find them guilty. It doesn't mean that the court has conducted an inquiry (like a board of inquiry might) and found that the accused is innocent of any wrongdoing. As a lawyer, this nuance is obvious to me but it's understandable that the difference is not evident to everyone. Feel free to delete this comment if you like. I love the videos and as long as you keep creating content, I'll continue to watch and support!

  15. Salt lake city has no business with a hockey team jus like Atlanta no one will watch there either theres alot better options then wasting money

  16. I wouldn’t do that trade. I wouldn’t make Trent Frederic available under any circumstances he’s been great. Plus, you don’t even know if they can keep Lindholm it’s likely just a rental and giving all those pieces away for a rental is not a good thing. I’d rather go for a guy who has terminal his contract like Hertel, but then another contract would be needed to be moved And or salary retention, which would put the price even more

  17. Great report Mike!
Re: Bruins & Lindholm: no way Bs part with Frederick, Poitras, and a 1st rounder for Lindholm. That's way too much to give up.
Re: Kako: he's an interesting prospect for sure. He is only 22yo and had 18G, 22A for 40 points last season….only 5 G this year in 26 games I think but he was injured. He's a big lad and like Slafkovsky in Montreal…if he can develop he could be a great "power forward" and could be a great asset. I wonder if Habs would see a role for him on the team possibly in a trade for Monahan…maybe we'll see Kent Hughes make such a deal.
