  1. Did that hit really need a fight? I don't mind fighting but that didn't seem like much

  2. A clean hit with no need for a "response". I hate the instigator rule but should it be called in situations such as this one?

  3. Fighting after a clean hit. What a sad state of affairs. Just go rock one of their guys with a clean hit and the “score” is even. Absolutely pathetic to fight after a textbook clean hit

  4. Why does a fight have to occur after a good clean body check? This is not pond hockey where you can’t raise the puck above your ankle. Yes, I understand the concept behind this but don’t agree and think it is ruining our game. I grew up playing semi-pro hockey in the 1970 – 80s. Body checking was an important part of our game. If someone laid out a great check, good on him. He might want to keep his head up because next time he might be the recipient. As great as Wayne Gretzky was, I believe he was the player who ushered in this mentality towards body checking. NHL players were told not to check him because he brought so much revenue into the game. The other deterrent was Semenko who no body ever wanted to tend with. But it opened the doors to the idea that you better leave the best players alone. Now we’ve got this mentality that every time you throw a good hard check there has to be a fight. Ridiculous.

  5. Players throwing fists on hard plastic doesn’t seem right. Mandatory that helmets and visors be removed before a scrap! Otherwise it’s nonsense…

  6. Tkachuck choose his fight and lose 😂😂😂😂😂😂 good for him that he never dance whit someone that know how to dance ….

  7. This is hockey folks stop the crying. If Mackey didnt want to fight he would've chosen not to. But you look at the crowd look at the benches everyone enjoyed it but you sensitive Nancy's. Its just a fight lol dont get your panties in a bind😂

  8. Comment section is why fights are dying in the NHL. “Clean hit, whys there a fight?” Come on. Let the boys go. Stutzle is his homie, let them fight if it’s a mutual agreement. It’s why it’s in hockey. Sure there can be instigators, he didn’t jump the dude, he challenged him. Let the fucking boys play.
