This is the kind of content I come here for

He will light it up in calgary. Oel and Dickinson for example just went on tears after we dumped them for nothing.

Don’t be sad its over just be happy it happened.

If he was playing at even a 25 goal pace and could do what Tocchet wanted out of him, we wouldn’t even have to be looking to trade at the deadline. Maybe a depth guy here and there but otherwise, we’d have been able to kept our 1st likely.

Kuzmenko was like that really fun fling that you developed feelings for but it was never gonna work long term

Kuzmenko is actually a lot like huberdeau

I have a real bad feeling this one’s gonna come back to bite us

I really wanted Kuzy to work. But he just doesn’t mesh with Tocchet’s style. Looking like Mikheyev doesn’t really either. I hope for all the best for Kuzy.

Our memes/60 took a hit but Kuzy’s meme game went down this season as well since his confidence pretty much was destroyed by Toch.

That moment of him sitting in the bench by himself after the first period while the rest of the team went back to the locker room is not the final image of him I wanted to see as a Canuck. (or him serving the penalty in the box last game)

He moved across the world, and he chose Vancouver to call home when he did. That’ll always mean something imho, seemed like a fun guy to have on the team by all accounts and he lit it up his first year.

Sucks it didn’t work out in the end, might’ve had more time to figure it out if this year wasn’t shaping out the way it is and his play wasn’t so antithetical to what the coach wants. Hope Calgary treats him well!

I’m super bummed out about this trade. Really bummed out.

I genuinely think Kuzmenko will do some huge things before he retires, and I feel like we maybe pulled the trigger on him too early.

There were large stretches of last season when Kuzmenko was the only reason I watched hockey.

Just like Bruce, I’m sad to see him go but it’s for the best

  13. ernieballsting

I hope he gets to smile again in Calgary

Didn’t he refuse to wear the pride jersey?
