  1. I think Canucks can finish ahead of Arizona but definitely it’s going be another rough year. As a fan I just hope there young players show growth and maybe they can surprise by being more competitive than expected.

  2. I'm in the 3.2% that put them in 6th. I think their offence is decent enough, they have a lot of young guys that will take major steps forward, and the Ducks and Kings will have bad years.

  3. You are right Shannon, it is just as well to keep Tanev but a package deal with Tanev involved, could get us very big return.

  4. As much as I like our rookies ready to play. The team needs to do bad… and hope we dont get 7th pick while we could be bottom 3. Canucks need quinns brother in order to be ontop again. Jack Hughes… brock boeser.. bo horvat.. elias Peterson… jonathan dahlin.. joulevi.. stetcher… demko.

  5. What happened to Ben Hutton?

I didn't really watch a ton of Canucks hockey last year, but back in 2016-17, I remember thinking he might be able to grow into a decent top 6 defenseman

  6. Three years. I give it three more years until there's hope for winning a playoff series. Not a cup, but we'll be competitive in three in my mind. Hope we can tank in the meantime and grab guys like Jack Hughes.

  7. Biggest problem they face is the goaltenders their no good. If only they hung on to corey schnider

  8. With the overload of prospects on the forward end, if we don’t land the first overall pick and we slot in somewhere in the top 5 I could see the Canucks making a splash and trading up to #1 in a trade involving our first and maybe demko, gaudette, dahlin or maybe even tanev, dipietro or juolevi

  9. The way you deliver seems like this is a disappointment. With Sedins gone Canucks can finally begin a proper rebuild. I don’t think any Canuck fans that legit follow the team would disagree this is a development year and are looking forward to playing a faster game. Another high draft pick or even 2 and the future is bright for the Canucks IMO.

  10. could this be the record setting year in the NHL where a team ( the canucks ) do not win a single game ?? stay tuned

  11. Even as a diehard Canucks fan, I agree with the 8th spot prediction. I think a lot of players will show flashes of the players they can grow to be, but we're just not there yet. The Canucks will spend one more year in the basement… '19-'20 will be the year they pull themselves out of this hole.

  12. I'm a huge Flyers fan but I absolutely looooved Naslund and Bertuzzi(before the Moore thing). I hope they return to be fun to watch like that team. I do think they have the pieces to do it with Brock and Petterson. Like I said not a fan but I do like what they are doing and the pieces they have in place. Just like the Flyers…….they need a goalie =/

  13. You don’t have to be so negative, we have some of the best prospects out there and are going to be competing for the Stanley Cup within 5 years

  14. Let’s face it. This video is already out of date. Elias Peterrson is going to be a STAR. Canucks will be winning sooner than you think

  15. Watching this video now shows how much the canucks have improved don’t get me wrong the still have a way to go but it’s better
