Ah, lucky number 13. Man I'd love to see the NHL adopt the 3pt regulation win like the PWHL.
Oettinger is still not fully recovered from last year and didn't get to train over the summer due to surgery. I'm not worried about him at all. People talked trash about Demko, but now he's recovered and playing phenomenally. I can see a season like that coming for Jake.

We got close last year and we have only gotten better since then.
This year we can go all the way no doubt and would be most ideal with some of the veterans on our team that may not be here much longer. Prob Suters last year with us, maybe, idk.

I don't know that I agree that the Stars lack depth. Or at least I don't think it's a bigger problem than Benn and Seguin not being worth their paychecks anymore. Yeah, Benn had a bounceback year last year but he's come back down now. Also, I don't know what happens in the locker room, but I know Benn doesn't play hockey like someone who wears a "C". That needs to go to Pavs or Hintz.

The Stars seem totally capable of taking home the cup, I feel like it really just depends on what happens in the other areas of the playoff bracket. Then again, teams will likely look much different when the playoffs actually arrive, and I am very excited to watch. I have high hopes that this team can finally get Benn and Pavelski a cup win, and Seguin deserves one with Dallas IMO. But my fear is that they need to get it done soon. Nonetheless, I'm rooting for the Stars to bring home the trophy this year so DFW sports can get some much deserved victories to make up for the tragedy that is the Dallas Cowboys.
