I buried the hatchet with Vancouver a while ago, watching them smash the !Oilers is gonna be delicious

Lol. I knew that’s why Calgary kept trading their players to the Canucks. Can’t beat the Oilers so they’ll team up to do it. Time will tell how long Vancouver players can keep that insane shooting percentage up.

Serious question though…. how would a Canucks Oilers series go? My personal view, is that the Canucks are the real deal,  they were stellar at the beginning under BB, I don’t what happened but they sucked for awhile and now Tocchet has them back to being good,  they have some incredible talent but so do the Oilers… that being said Oilers never addressed their underlying issues,  I still think they’re « peaking » at the wrong time and will go cold again just in time for the playoffs.

Ideally I’d like to see a 4 game sweep an then McDavid and Drai leaving lol but I’m gonna say Canucks in 6.

The ideal Calgary situation. Canucks beat Edmonton and lose in the WCF.

As a Canucks fan, I’ve always liked the Flames more than the Oilers. Edmonton has been spoiled by the draft lottery, while us Canuck fans and Flames fans had to suffer through a lot of years missing out on top prospects. Calgary also seemed to sign a lot of good ex Canucks, a lot of them who I like, so I like seeing them succeed. Hoping you guys can right the ship and we can both bully Edmonton.

    Fuck the Oilers

What can the Flames now squeeze out of Edmonton for Tanev rental? Might as well arm both sides if it fills the coffers.
