Really wonder who Drury is looking at. Not many great rentals on the market. He might have to make a hockey trade to improve this roster.
Henrique in a Rangers jersey is gonna make me sick to my stomach but I’ve accepted it’s likely gonna happen (and will hold my nose and cheer for him while he’s here)
I’d rather they get an actual top tier RW like Tarasenko than overpay for some mid tier C coming off a shitty year or injury. Just get someone on the same level as Brodz and ride him out the rest of the year with then as injury insurance
I’m hoping there are some under-the-radar centers not thought to be available for trade that Drury can bring in. A surprise trade that catches everyone off-guard involving players that would have more impact to the roster. The available rentals aren’t exciting and the trades (as said by other posters) won’t move the needle much and would more likely hurt the Rangers in the long run via lost picks and prospects.
