1. I actually think Dubas did well with what he inherited. He got rid of allot of bad contacts and brought in some good players. Also I feel like he is young and innovative and think he will bring fresh eyes to the organization to build into the future.

  2. At this point I'm not impressed with the majority of moves he made. He did get rid of Hextalls blunders except for Carter. Jury still out for me.

  3. How about blame the players and especially the coach. Look like I’m watching Tomlin coach..Dubas got rid of all Hextall doings…

  4. Kyle Dubas in my opinion has fixed the goaltending and the defense beyond what anyone expected. The Penguins are 4th in SV% (behind WPG, BOS and VAN), 6th in GAA (behind WPG, VAN, FLA, BOS and LAK), 4th in Goals Against Below Expected (behind WPG, BOS and VAN). Our problem is only offense (especially the Power Play): we are 28th in Shooting%, 31st in Goals For Above Expected. Ironically, Dubas' moves on offense seemed good at the time, I was only concerned about the defense and goaltending. For me, number 1 priority is firing Todd Reirden! Any other PP coach would do better. If that doesn't work, Dubas will have to wait until the offseason to make more moves on the offensive side.

  5. Accari has been honestly one of my favorite additions dubas made. He is a monster at blocking shots and forechecks like a mad man but I agree with him having little to no offensive presence other than forechecking

  6. People gotta keep in mind if the PP wasn't causing us to lose games we would be gunning for first in the division. Things are not as bad as people are making them out to be. There are 100% problems but they can be fixed. Not even to mention did anyone actually expect this much change to happen with the team and nothing go wrong? Obviously there would be some misses

  7. It's not too early to try and figure out if Dubus acquisitions have made this team better. We're over half the way through the season now and I would say this team is less good than last year. What remains to be seen is what trades/acquisitions he will make before seasons end..then it is fair to make a good evaluation and judge his performance. IMO Dubus has acquired the types of players we already have instead of the types of players we really need. You ain't getting to the promised land solely by scoring pretty goals and not being able to muck it up a bit

  8. It’s too early to judge imo. That being said a lot of negative reviews are probably coming from people that live in Toronto that still hate him that he has a job in the nhl.

  9. I think he has done well. In no universe did i think the GM replacing hextall could shed the petry, granlund or Rutta contracts, let alone all 3. And they ditched the inconsistent DeSmith. I like the hellberg and Ned signings. Much better back up options. i also like him signing players to 1 year contracts like hinestroza, white, harkins, etc. to build up WB/S. I dont think they are NHL regulars. no risk with the puljujarvi PTO. And he has built out the staff. I liked the smith trade at the beginning and thought there was good chemistry with geno. that has totally gone away. Much more positives than negatives. The graves thing is a bummer and i was really happy with the signing when it happened.

  10. its to early judge dubas i think we need judage him this offseason
