  1. Sad to see him go, and less coming back than I would have hoped. Hopefully we can re-sign him next year!

  2. gorton the bobo, maker of bad deals.thats all you got for a top 6 player having a career year?
    thats 1/4 now trader jack.

  3. This absolutely sucks. Hey, Hughes- What is wrong with you?😠Why wouldn't you trade Matheson?

  4. You know what i love as a habs fan after this bad trade the fact we will watch the other centers going for crazy trades. While looking back at ours and hating it even more . I can just see it

  5. As a huge fan i wouldve rather a player then a pick, we have draft picks!!!! And its a defeseman year something we reslly dont need for the future were set!!! Man oh man montreal always dissapoints ive been a fan since i could walk but some days i wonder why. They never come ahead man even when were a "good team" we never have any good players. Literally the best players montreal has had since 1990s is Kovy Koivu and Pacioretty all great players but not superstars. Just sad everytime we have something good we let it go monahan was cheap as hell we coulda kept him for the young guys woulda been way more valuable

  6. Go Jets Go!

  8. This makes me very worried for the timeline for Montreal becoming a better team. i didnt realize we were doing theses favors for players that had no hope a couple years ago. Are we team focused or being cuddly with short term high risk guys

  9. happy for sean at least is going to a team that is going some where how many years is going to take for us to be proud of your team again?

  10. More draft picks over an established player. KH has no end insight for his rebuild. Horrible trade. This team is going nowhere

  11. Great move, sticking to the plan of the rebuild is key. Great job Kent… I mean Went Hughes ALL HE'S GOT IS W'S!

  12. Name 2 regular center players leaving a mark in the last 30 years for the Habs? Carbonneau, Plekanec and….✌🏻

  13. Ça doit faire mal au cœur de faire un échange sachant que tu empires ton club. Ça paraît dans son non verbal.

  14. In my 70+ years and as an avid Habs fan, I witnessed Sam Pollock in the 1970s build the Montreal Canadian dynasty. In the past 30 years that dynasty vanished until recently when Mr. Gorton and Mr. Hughes arrived as Managers. Now, fans such as myself can see the vision of the Habs dynasty returning to Montreal. As a lifelong fan, I am impressed and exhilarated for the future under this management. The negativity from the below comments illustrates the impatience and lack of historical Habs knowledge by the writers. Trust the Process! It will happen!
