  1. I wonder if Dancing Gabe is going to come see the new Winnipeg Jets. Anyone know where he is now?

  2. Amazing Video! Thank you very Much! Can't Wait for this Season 2011/2012! GO JETS GO!!

  3. Great Documentary, i was too young to really appreciate the Jets back then but now knowing their long past in our city I see why their is so much love for the Jets. Now that they are back I wanna be part of it, I never really watch hockey but now i'm gonna watch and cheer on every Jets Game! I'm gonna get My Jets Swag on and Sport the Jets Colours n' Emblem every time! We gotta make up for the 15 years we lost!

  4. Seriously we should get Teemu Selanne back! He's 41 and still playing for the Ducks, he should retire after playing one more season with the jets!!!!

WHERE'S DANCING GABE AT THESE DAYS?????Hopefully he didn't have a nervous breakdown when they left

  5. not a jets fan but fuck me this was good! watched the whole thing in one and i want more! lol

  6. Would love to see some Dancing Gabe and any footage of Tuxedo Night. I've been trying to explain that one to the yung uns. I would appreciate anything you might have. Thanks for all the posts.

  7. HOLY SHIT YOUNG MARK CHIPMAN!
He really has been at this for awhile, probably a class act guy.
The Jets are back baby, here's to the history thats in stone and the many amazing years to come!

  8. Congratulations Winnipeg Jets: Avco Cup Champions! Next Year the Stanley Cup! (unless of course, the vindictive pricks at the NHL front office decide to take away all of your players for the old clubs).

  9. Ahh yes, Tuxedo Night … "Montreal may have the classiest team, but Winnipeg has the classiest fans" and the banner at the south end – "Hockey Night in Canada, what took you so long?". Now, THERE is a memory 🙂

  10. in 1996 was a really sad day for me living in toronto and having to lose my team when i was like 1500 miles away and moving back to my home city of winnipeg in 1998 and having no NHL hockey team broke my heart big time and in 2011 having the NHL back in winnipeg is a dream to me .and i was at the MTS Center of that anouncement of the name of the franchise front row with my #25 steen jersey i will never forget that 🙂

  11. Jets should bring back their 90's jerseys

    Imagine this

    Vancouver: 70's jerseys
    Edmonton: 80's jerseys
    Calgary: 80's jerseys
    Winnipeg 90's jerseys
    Toronto: any jerseys
    Ottawa: heritage jerseys
    Montreal: any jerseys
    Quebec: any jerseys

Would be beautiful, any game between two Canadian teams would look great on TV

  12. man the chicken delight chicken is seriously pumped about the avco cup, its funny that they filmed the parade from across the street from eatons, now the home of the new jets .

  13. man, I still get goosebumps – Ellet scoring on Ranford in double OT to beat the dreaded OILERS in game 4 of that fateful series.

  14. I'm an Australian living in Australia but I am massive, massive Jets fan. Not living in America/Canada I could go for any team I want, I'm not bound by geography, but there's simply no Team I'd rather go for then the Jets, no matter how much they win or loose. Thanks for the video your a legend.

  15. That funky music featuring the electric clavinet during the 76 cup parade was brilliant!  Glad the Jets are back in the NHL.  Always root for them when the Oilers aren't playing.  Hockey belongs in Manitoba.

  16. 27:35 – Shenkarow should have done all Jets' fans a favour that year and gone off..found a tall building..and jumped off of it.  Asshole.

  17. Great video, just can't watch with dry eyes 🙂 Hopefully Jets draft wisely and get JP, one hell of a player and definitely will make the team better. Greetings from Finland.
